Okay so the rumours of the 720 for having always online requirement to play games seems to be accurate according to Paul Thurrott (Who works with windows)

Well...Its easy for me now to decide which next gen console i'm going with and its definitely the ps4!!!

are you really in a place where you cant get internet or are you always going to places with ur xbox that do not have internet?

Multiplayer is the main reason people play games now anyways. The ONLY thing i find that is dumb about this is that you might not be able to play a single player game if you are not connected, but again...WHEN ARE YOU NOT CONNECTED?

Its just stupid little reasons you people look for to bitch about something.

I dont even think ill get the consoles anyways, but its retarded the reasons you guys will NOT get something. they are not legitimate reasons. I will probably just stick to PC next console generation unless there are games i want on those consoles.

And then i see the PC people complaining about the consoles always being online and then saying OH YEAH U SHOULD PLAY PC CUZ THOSE CONSOLES HAVE TO BE ONLINE ALWAYS NOW... are you a fking idiot?

99.9% OF THE TIME you WILL be connected to the internet even when you play single player games. I know i was when i played 300 hours of skyrim. thats a single player game, and guess what... i was CONNECTED to the INTERNET at the.....SAME.....TIME OMGG!?!

man you retards have your complaining priorities fkn twisted. Complain about real issues with the console. Like maybe software availability, apps, hardware capabilities, innovation.... ETC.

Its not about paying 15.00 a month its the fact that they take that choice away from us gamers when the majority of gaming goes back way before the dawn of the internet.And if your not aware gamers from before the xbox era still make up the majority of the gaming industry market.That singles out a good portion of the gaming community.Not everybody is a fan of FPS(Or better yet people still like diversity in their gaming) and that is all that dominates the online console market.There is still a large portion of gamers who still yearn for a good single gaming experience.

Forcing people to be connected to the internet is not something they should be focusing on.
No matter how you look at it they are excluding people from gaming whether it be people who really can't afford it or people who just never got into online multiplayer to begin with.
Although if you never played a console before xbox i can see why this would not concern you

If we go by pure hardware and capabilities then yet the playstation is always going to be on top.
However i do commend the xbox 360 for their controller it is was very comfortable and natural in the hands.

It depends on what type of games you like for single player games and a true multimedia console go for the ps and if you enjoy quality online gaming go with the xbox

I never played halo for the story line even still i can appreciate the online gaming aspect of the xbox 360 it was really enjoyable.
Though since i grew up in a time where games themselves were the center of attention and not just one aspect of it i can't see myself buying this system it seems to pander to a specific lot of people.

I just don't want to see games like god of war & medal gear solid to fall to the way side.
I don't mean to just mention ps games i am sure there are good single player xbox games i myself just don't know of them lol
