So is the final episode of the fullbring arc the end of the anime right now?

You are wrong. One Piece has always been first ever since it came out. Naruto had always been second. Bleach was always third or fourth. In the shonen jump rankings bleach gone down even in this final arc. Bleach will never be first ad long as one piece is number 1. It's only chance of getting back on top is if one piece and naruto are somehow gone.

Naruto has had worse chapters these past 3 months out the big 3 and yet it still ranks 2nd every week.

hmhmh not really, there are times when naruto beat one piece and that happen in the 1st half 2005 but one piece regain it place in the 2nd half 2005,

and also after that bleach take over naruto in 2nd place.

I justed watched it and yeah bleach took over 2nd place "once"
It has never been first. The guy I quoted before said Bleach was always number 1.
Also that was back when bleach was s till good and was a competitior against the other 2. But, it will never get that chance again.

Lol a arc that will last 8-10 years(only Kubo can make an arc this long). I'm sure he will ruin the potential of this arc too. So i'm not having high hopes for this arc.

Dude, 8 years is like he is writing a new manga, it doesnt make any sense. 5 years in just one arc is already an absurd!

And yet the Hueco Mundo/Espada arc lasted 5 years. My fears are justified. Kubo writes very slowly.

Bleach is still the fourth best selling Manga in the magazine and one of the top 10 best selling Manga in Japan by total sales. The publisher makes its money through Volume sales. Trust me, WSJ has no interest in ending Bleach because it would be stupid from them if they would. They want it to keep going as long as Kubo can stretch it. The ranking does not matter for it. Look at Mago, it ranks terrible, sells less and is still going because it sells really well.

I don't follow any interviews but what I heard from people who do is that
a) Kubo said he will keep the Manga runing for 10 years.
b) this will be the longest arc yet
c) for him the Visored, hueco mundo and the fake town are "one arc" and that "saga" took 5(?) years to complete
So from all those statements on should except Bleach to keep going for 9 years and if anybody in Jump can stretch it this long than it is Kubo.

Interesting. So Kubo point of view is different, what he calls an arc is a saga with a lot of arcs. Ok, on this train of thought, maybe it can take 5 years

As for how long Bleach is gonna last, realize that the editorsmay try to get him to end it faster than he wants, to keep the author's reputation up and keep the series from declining and encourage a new series by the author. But Kubo can probably do what he wants at this point. And it's lost its luster, and isn't really going to be increasing unless Kubo really comes up with an interesting plot. That or he goes a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure route and just changes the main character and the story

As for all the Bleach talk, I doubt Jump is going to force Bleach to end unless it drops really low (both in TOC and volume sales). Even if it does, they'll probably have hope he can pick it up or something. Though I'd rather have it end, stretching out a series for too long isn't good and imo Bleach is already boring enough.

What a silly conversation. Bleach is not ending any time soon. Kubo claims this is the last arc, the editors will give him the time to finish it, even if TOC rankings are not what they once were. We all know that Bleach will be around for two or three more years.

You misunderstood me there. What I meant was it is not ending but slowly laying the foundation to its end instead, hence the final arc. That is contrary to Kubo's wishing for it to last another 10 year. Also, I never said it ending anytime soon.

The fact that we are entering the final arc is Kubo's decision, not WSJ's (who would actually prefer that it went on as long as possible).

nah its not like that, he imply that he can still continue his series even with low rating in WSJ thanks to the past sales and his huge fandom, not because he want to make money from the final arc and doing it for 10 years,

But, I never said that, did I.
All i said was that I have low expectations for this arc. The reason behind that is because i had high expectations for a lot of bleach arcs before but they all turned out to be let downs. For example, the arrancar and fake karakura town arcs.

Obviously you never said that, you're implying it. When you say you have low expectations you're saying you think it's going to be crap.

Bleach ratings were gradually dropping before and during those arcs, so obviously the arcs were not as good as they could have been. But this is a new start for Bleach, Kubo even took time off to do some extra research. You can't compare a ruined storyline with one that's only starting right now.
