Not sure kishi thought these things through in order to answer them.

If i remember correctly, Kaguya was an asspull character created so Madaras character would be defeated (no one else was able to defeat him and even Kishi couldnt think of any other way). And before people try to post images of Black Zetsu: Black Zetsu was an asspull too.

Eventually, the "Rabbit Goddess" became known as a demon instead. And then, Kaguya became ruled by her desire to make all chakra her own.

To make all chakra one - Kaguya's desire eventually turned on Hagoromo and Hamura, her own twin sons with whom she had split her chakra. Kaguya formed a plan, and in order to take in all chakra, fused with the Shinju and battled against her twin sons.

The twins, assuming that the Juubi was a transformed Shinju attacking them in order to reclaim the chakra that was taken from it, faced off against it. And after a fierce battle, the activated Rikudou Chibaku Tensei. They turned it into the moon and sealed it away.

Caption next to Hamura on the last page: The Gedou Mazou, the remaining shell of the Juubi, was sealed in the moon. Hamura took command of the clan to watch over the Mazou.

Secondly, why would they separate her? She tried to kill them for chakra and used infinite Tsukuyomi on her people. If she came back, she would try again and keep oppressing the world with Infinite Tsukuyomi.

1. Somewhere. I theorize that it was one of the dimensions she uses. Notice how BZ says "you'll be sacrificed for the birth of a new dimension?" She probably cam from another reality entirely, and created the current one.

2. Never explained, but apparently someone who stuck with her since Haruma's considered the younger brother, meaning they aren't twins.

3. Never explained. She probably could keep tabs on what happens like Hagoromo to a certain extent.

4. Hagoromo likely founded ninshu after absorbing the juubi. In fact, that could easily be why he made it, because he didn't understand his mother.

The castle is probably a former residence of hers. She probably made the dimensions with the expansive TSB in the first place.


This is exactly what's frustrating about Kaguya. She has enormous potential to be an interesting villain. Where did she come from? Why would she help humans at first? What was her relationships like? However, due to Kishi ignoring these details, she turned out to be an average villain.

Separate her. She won't be that powerful anymore...It seem like Hagoromo was the strongest at the time. You don't seal your own mother away even if she tries to kill you. You weaken her and try to talk some sense into her...No matter how long it take! Hagoromo was dead wrong. He simply could've fix shit after finding out it was his mother. Hagoromo is a failed person just like his younger son. Both of them wanna preach peace and yet get rid of their own family member.
