[Question] when did hiruzen became hokage exactly?

i am curious about this because we see two instances of him becoming hokage.

once when he is dying and reminiscing about it. he is being told by tobirama and hashirama that he is ging to be hokage starting tomorrow. he is like 14 in there.(i am not sure if this is anime only)

and once we see in danzou's flashback(which also includes his dying)

we all know how it goes. tobirama sacrifices himself for the teams sake and tells hiruzen that he is going to be hokage from now on. and in this hiruzen looks completely passed puberty.

so which is the true moment?

is danzuo delusional?

I think both are correct, Hiruzen was always going to be the next Hokage; Hashirama and Tobirama told him back then but Tobirama made it official at the event of his death, that's probably why Hiruzen was also shocked because he knew Tobirama was really going to die since he made him Hokage now.
