[Discussion] Question: How to win against izanami?

As the title says...if you get caught, is there anyway you can defeat it? Itachi always says there is a weakness to every jutsu. did we ever discuss this?

lets say sasuke (or even tobi / madara) uses it on naruto. how will he escape?

BTW... why doesnt izanami require senju dna (or whatever you need...cells?) to perform it? izanagi needs it, but its twin / pair (izanami) doesnt?

Plus Izanami wouldnt work on naruto because it only works on people who can't accept themselves

Meh, Izanami is stupid as hell. In a nutshell, the only way to escape it is to acknowledge the results of your actions, and accept your fate. In a sense it's kind of like the Falls of Truth, so I really don't see how this would work on Naruto.

this is where im confused. does it depend on the person who casts the izanami or the person who its cast on?

itachi said he held kabuto's fate / destiny, he just needed kabuto to accept it.

1. so did that mean, that if kabuto doesnt do what itachi wanted (release edo tensei) he would be stuck forever?

or

2. would kabuto just have to come to some type of realization?


thats why im kinda confused. i thought it was the first one, meaning if you get caught, you're pretty much done for.

Its just a Genjutsu technique... You'll come out of it just when you accept the results and consequences.
