[Question] how did itachi activate his mangekyo?

this is making me curious because we all thought he got it because he killed shisui but in fact he just took one of his eyes, later when he tells naruto the story he says that shisui simply left. so he is probably not dead or even if he is he did not meet his end by itachi's hands. so what condition did itachi met to awaken his sharingan?

it cannot be the killing of his family and clan, because he simply had it then.

but if you are gonna say he got it after the massacre then it would simply beidiotic and he would be a easy powr gaining guy like kabuto or sasuke is(which pisses me off pretty bad)

i personally think there is a huge continuity error in this matter an i simply think kishi actually DID intend to make itachi evil. he simply changed his backstory cuz he is so loved by little kids around the world.

i mean you could find good explanations for the shit that itachi did to sasuke(most of them still dont makes sense, i mean for his own good? thats just fuked up)


but telling his brother to kill his best friend when he himself didnt even do that is just evil.

yes itachi is a cool guy, but i think he was originally intended to be as evil as madara or obito.

(and i still believe orochimaru wasnt as evil and he was actually in love with tsunade but that is just me)

I think itachi get his ms by learning about danzo taking his friend's eye and shusui giving his eye to itachi to protect village causes itachi to awaken his ms.

He got it when shisui died. Yes he didn't kill shisui but him dying still resulting in the activation of his mangekyou. For those who are saying he got it when he killed his family that's false. Think about it. He waited till sasuke got there to kill his mom and dad and immidiately afterwards he used tsukuyomi. If he just awakened it I doubt he'd have that much control over tsukuyomi. It appeared as if he was already familiar with the technique showing that he already had it.

Keep in mind guys you don't have to kill to get the mangekyou. Just have to witness a tragedy big enough once you reached the final level of the base sharingan. Sasuke technically didn't kill itachi yet after the truth about itachi was revealed his mangekyou awakened. Obito didnt kill rin yet it resulting in his awakening. Don't listen to everything itachi was telling sasuke cause some of it was lies.

and on the matter how did shisui get his mangekyo? he s supposed to be a saint.

i think there are more ways to get MS. like not with hatred or pain, but stuff like love and happy sweet shit like that.
