Zetsu can't be compared to a clone though. A clone will go poof if the user dies or runs out of chakra. Zetsu didnt die when Madara did, ergo he is his own person.

That's true....although Madara still existed in some form...as his will within Black Zetsu. He was saying because of ones own will and mind....in the time of the shadow clone it wouldn't be his power. By his post....Though....I suppose I'll agree, but I myself personally will still consider Zetsu his power...as he works to serve Madara, and can be utilized as a tool. show the scan where the rods were draining and damaging hashirama and how somebody with constantly restored unlimited chakra gets weakened when it is constantly restored. yet somebody who has mokuton dragon draining his chakra is unaffected.
so madara drains sage mode from a sagemodeless hashirama you do contradict yourself sometimes how is that possible?
madaras eye grants madaras power if you use it it is his power you are using. i have a gun your using it whose gun is it?

Hashirama lost his goal was to kill madara in the end he failed.
madaras was to gain hashiramas power he did so he won.
of the 2 madara acheived his objective and hashirama failed so hashirama lost you can slice it anyway you want.

because zetsu is an advanced yinyang clone not a kage bunshin.
its a more advanced version of muus body splitting technique. either one being sealed or dying doesnt effect the other.
