....He didnt learn it from yondaime, where in the manga does it state kakashi learned it from yondaime?

Wasn't it something like that he couldn't master it so he created the chidori but later did master it? at least thats what I got out of it. Never really bothered to check how Kakashi managed to learn rasengan. But I'm sure the fourth was mentioned when Kakashi was talking about it.
And about the sharingan, people tend to forget that even before having the sharingan Kakashi was way beyond what any genin (with the exception of Neji) was when Naruto & co started. I think the fact he was a genious really helped in his usage of the sharingan otherwise every Uchiha would be known as copy ninja
Also I don't think Itachi needs to copy any jutsu's (saw someone mentioning this earlier) I assume he already has a good number of jutsu's and is skilled enough he doesn't need to copy anything to beat his opponent.

anyways.. i always say if u train u can do any type of move....
besides KG & blood line limits...
But as far as sharringan.... Itachi & sasuke are cocky...lol...
so they wouldnt copy a jutsu anymore cause they dont need too...
the last time i seen any type of jutsu copy from itachi was (actually it was a reverse lol)
when he was fightin kurenai and he told her genjutsu on that level wont work...lol...
kakashi does it cause hes nice...lol..
i mean he trained and was good already...
the sharringan made him better along with training of course...

Kakashi has never used a Wind natured jutsu, and he's only used a fire one during the anime. I think there is always one element a ninja can never use. (Exceptions like the Rin'Nigan are there though)
in the chapter(kakashi gaiden) where kakashi first show's is chidori to yodaime he speak's of a hard tecnic and when he shows it to naruto while wind training he sais that yodaime tought it to him

Koo, take it easy! We have all read the manga, but there are too many things to remember. I have always believed Sharingan cannot copy K.G. but I cannot remember for sure, so if someone asks about it they make me doubt.
Besides the mentioning of that happened a long time ago, we have lately being focusing on Naruto's RS and all the new techniques, as well as Akatsuki's powers.

He copied it, my point exactly.
Kakashi copied rasengan using his sharingan, however he certainly cannot copy FRS, too much chakra needed, way too much, and as the manga says, spatial recomposition and elemental at the same time is F ing hard

I agree with you twisty.
Think this is also the reason why he is Known as the copy ninja, not because of his sharingan, but for his ability to analyse a technique, using his sharingan, and being able to replicate it. If I may say, this is just my opinion, but I think that Kakashi's ability to copy jitsu's surpass both Sasuke and Itachi's ability. Dont get me wrong but I think that is what makes him special above all the other Sharingan users. Itachi I would say excells his sharingan more for genjitsu purposes. And Sasuke I would say is using his Sharingan more to predict his opponents movements.
So we see that each of those specialize in different areas of the sharingan. Please guys im not saying that can only do that, and that is all that they can do, Im mearly pointing out something that If realized.
If someone would be so kind as to recap in the manga, as to where Kakashi/Yamato states how many elements Kakshi can use? I remember its where they talk about Chuunin's and Jounins and that Jounins normally have 2/3, but I dont know where its stated in the Manga.
Also Like twisted link said, even though he might have the ability to use both, water/wind it still doesnt mean he have the ability to replicate it. He might have seen how it is done, but It would take him years, even with his Sharingan to master it.
This is just my opinion.
About how Kakashi can use Rasengan i don't think the right word would be copy. Although in the manga copy is the word he uses i believe since the 4th was his sensei he propably showed to him, maybe while he was practising to master it (like look i made a new jutsu but in a more serious way) or he saw him using it on an opponent and kakashi with his sharingan and being a genius figoured out himself the 3 steps to master rasengan (much like how Jiraya tought Naruto) and with lot of practise he managed to "copy" it. Also Kakashi can make a resengan without using a shodow clone unlike Naruto but he still is not at Jirayas lvl cause when Kakashi creates rasengan he uses bth hands. A hand to create resengan and the other to make it stable/ hold still? idk
