I may be wrong, or right, but does Tsunade/Sakura's strength focus on releasing chakra at a single point when they land the punch. Correct? So how would that fair against rotation which sends the power right back at them?

Someone help me out here because I always wondered.

It depends on the rotation user. If the rotation user is weak the defense gets demolished

The force of the punch can stop the rotation.

According to gentle fist fighting style they do not strike with the force. They just follow the opponent's force and it's weakness then use the force against the opponent.

Simple, like you throw a straight punch at me, i dont block/wall or strike back. I see your weakness first, and use it to turn your own force in disadvance stance or against you.

Neji counters it, it all depends on the chakra control of the user not the strength.

Seeing how rotation uses the force back at them, would that not just kill Sakura?

When A stronger force meets a weaker force, what happens?

Does it matter how strong the force is compared to what the technique does? It sends it all right back, meaning the stronger force would just become the factor of change.

Correct.

rotation perfectly counters it.
the weakest rotation would counter the strongest chakra punch flawlessly, as the medic needs a tangible, static surface to apply the punch onto. This, as the crude CC jutsu doesn't have the refinement, capable priority & tactic flexibility of a proper ninjutsu/ elemental ''projectile''.Its obviously not a force based on weight/ solid mass either, so it has no chance.
but most taijutsu has little chance against jyuuken & rotation anyway.

the punch would be invisibly dispersed into the air & the puncher would be knocked away.
this seems to me, another ''gentle'' aspect of gentle fist whereby the stronger or aggressive jutsu is nullified by the weaker or passive nature of its precision-based, chakra-counter techniques

Untrue, that's like me saying that Tamari's fan could push back..

just because her fan or techniques are meant to repel object's..

That's not true at all, you are comparing two different things. Wind pushes/repel objects, that's what most Wind techniques do, especially one's that involve her fan.

The Rotation basis is from sending the attack power back. Unless you have proof that the rotation is not capable enough of sending their enhanced strength back, I am going to go with yes a trained Hyuuga can.

Nice explanation, thank you.

What would their cap in terms of how much strength they could handle?

Neji or a Hyūga cannot push something back that has a greater force behind it and that's simple Science (fundamental forces).

Can Rotation push this back?

How about this?

No they couldn't and that's because the force behind it is greater.

its not about strength, but technique.
Tsunade has more strength than Hiashi. but she can't apply it.

rotation nullifies her power before reaching the solid surface of his body. she might as well be doing her chakra punch in mid-air, which is sadly, the most perfect analogy between these 2 techniques.

any decently powerful ninjutsu could stress & blow a rotation if maintaned.
but Tsunade can't even -initiate- pressure on that technique
heck Tsunade could if:

1. she punches the ground just in front of him
2. she could defy physics & gravity so that rotation would't rob her leverage(lifting her up in air).
she is plenty strong enpough, ddozens of times over.

Those examples are not physical forces. So the argumentation has not changed nor have you nullified them.

so your saying that a Hyuga could've pushed this back?

And yes my argument is stronger than yours and can be backed with basic science.

Basic science? What the heck. You obviously cannot answer the question when we are talking about PHYSICAL attacks. Which is what the technique does to repel.

I believe the rotation was used to stop Juubi spikes. So I see no valid reason for an experienced Hyuuga not being able to repel, or at the very least stop it before it hits them. So please stay on topic. Thank you
