Question about Naruto and Sasuke

So you think that during their first fight naruto could have been killed? Kurama would have blasted Sasuke if he tried anyway.

Shisui is an exceptional shinobi. Even itachi said he wasn't on his level. So do not compare sasuke to him haha. Jutsu wise sasuke may have even surpassed shisui I don't know. But shisui's eyes were the best ever.

OT: in your first post you said sasuke didn't get a chance to awaken EMS on his own? Then just now you said he did have a chance? Either way, he decided to take itachi's eyes himself..

If you mean the jutsu Naruto's gained without Kurama's chakra against EMS Sasuke, then no, but he'd give Sasuke a hard time. However, EMS is a result of surgery, hardly a skill. So when it comes to natural potential such as SM VS MS, they're about even. However, the argument that having Kurama is just being lucky and doesn't require skill is nullified by this statement by Sasuke.

Given Sasuke's reaction, controlling large amounts of chakra is difficult, meaning that 1. Naruto's at this level via skill and 2. He had to earn this level of power. The idea that Kurama's a cheat code is a stupid and pointless bashing of Naruto. Naruto simply has access to tools no one else has and learns how to make the most use out of them.

How am I underrating Naruto when I JUST set them equal? You're underrating Sasuke by not giving him any credit whatsoever! Base Naruto is strong, just as base Sasuke. Base Naruto can't overcome EMS Sasuke. But Naruto with his Kyuubi chakra can overcome base Sasuke. It goes full way.

Dude the is no character underestimation goin on here ,the way Kishi portrays them in these current chapters(BSM Naruto/Senjutsu EMS Sasuke) is that they are close to equals.And i doubt Kishi want us to believe that a weaker version of Naruto can defeat current Sasuke.
