It is hard to say why, but the climate of Qingshui is warmer than that of its neighbours and a wider variety of flora and fauna can be found here than in most other areas of the Land of Fire. Tall, but gradual hills run along the edges of the area, making it feel like one big valley. Inside the sheltered center is a remnant of the Freehold; an open-air sculpture park featuring the likeness of their greatest commanders, statesmen and philosophers. A number of villages are scattered around the hills; many of which are known for producing talented artists.
