They were saying because Neji > lee w/o weights = sasuke w/chidori. would mean neji could easily react, dodge and solo gaara.

I don't remember Neji really having feats equal to W/O Lee though.

And he probably can't keep the rotation forever, if anything, it'll give time for Gaara to prepare his next move as soon as Neji is finished.

He doesn't. the neji fanboys thread (in my sig), were claiming he had that feat based off lee's words of "strongest genin is neji" and "best taijutsu users" yada yada yada which somehow means > lee w/o weights. they seem pretty strong about it, so i suppose neji has that feat. idk.

If i recall correctly, he was mentioned to be stronger than Gaara at that time
By feats, his more perfect defense(capable to reflect attacks) alongside juuken techniques should allow him to overcome Gaara and his body shield would be useless in that case. He won't have as much problems as Lee whose attacks go from the outside when he can block tenketsus directly

How does Gaara win? His sand is useless infront of Neji's defense. On the other side Neji can easily go through his sand defense with his kaiten and block his tenketsus by attacking his inside(so his body defense is useless) with his juuken

How many times do you think Neji can use rotation? Rotation does nothing to Gaara's sand. He just keeps using it. Neji exhauts his chakra and is done for.
How would rotation, a defensive technique, get through his sand defense?
64 palms isn't getting through sand dome. His fingers get pierced or crushed and his chakra wouldnt even reach Gaara.
Even if Gaara had his chakra points closed, automatic defense is still active.
