It wasn't extremely close the last time they fought

Yeah, it was.

Itachi resorted to MS to hinder him. Before that, Kakashi saw through every move Itachi made, it really was a tight match.

Don't understand why people think part 1 Kakashi stood a chance. Itachi clearly said before that he wanted to finish the fight as soon as possible, before backup arrives. Thus activating MS, and thus finishing him off in no time.

Also it's a little strange how Kakashi tells asuma and kurenai to keep their guard up, then then states how itachi hasn't even shown half is power. Keep in mind this statement was said before Itachi showed his MS, something Kakashi wasn't even aware of. To make such a statement without even knowing itachi had such an ace in the hole speaks for itself

Itachi has this.

Part 1 Kakashi can't use the Sharingan for more than a few minutes and Itachi already proved to be far more proficient with it. Asuma will be as useful as he was in part 1.

In their first battle he got tricked by kakashi's clone feints and and had to pull out ms.

In the second fight he got tricked by clones(again) and since he couldn't pull out ms he lost. Kakashi's clone held him in place while the real kakashi who was mere feet away could have used raikiri. But as you said naruto was on it with rasengan.

He lost because it was 30% shape shifting substitute, if you do the math.

A full itachi would sweep... :|

That was 3Tomoe Kakashi at his best with help, going against 30% the power itachi copy.

Seriously...

He nearly didn't escape the water clone, seriously be realistic here :|

When he was in Edo tensei, he was able to cast a regular visual genjustu on a perfect jinchuuriki (bee), for a short while.

It was extremely close, even if Kakashi had to babysitting Kurenai, he was able to counter all Itachi's jutsu despite Itachi's handseal speed.

30% Itachi got owned by Kakashi's clone alone, As soon as Kakashi blocked him, Itachi was condamned , so real Kakashi could have raikiri him but Naruto just finished the job but it's not the debat since it's part 1.Chiyo and Sakura didn't even fight Itachi.

3T level of genjutsu won't work on Kakashi, the only way to win was to use mangekyou.

You honestly have no idea what you read in that chapter...

Kakashi clone needed help from demon form naruto to kill that copy.

In fact, Itachi dodge all his moves and cast a regular genjustu on him.

Since it was a clone, it didn't work...

So he begged naruto to kill itachi, while itachi was holding him down.

Seriously...

He lost because he couldn't see kakashi's clone feint. Him being at 30% doesn't change his analytical abilities.

Not only was kakashi holding back against the clone but he had a clone of his own handle itachi.

Seriously.

Seriously.

Itachi's objective: Momentarily stop Konoha ninjas. No intent to kill
Kakashi's objective: To kill itachi with the help of Naruto

Circumstances...

Ya, 30% everything

If naruto wasn't there, what would happen?
^^Exactly

30% substitute didn't even use MS, and he was battling 4 people.

^^Like I posted, do the math

Last time Naruto tried to ambush Itachi, he took out 2 of his clones with just a mere Kunai knive, and open his cape to send out his crow technique... Instantaneous genjustu <---Later shoved a crow done his throat.

Even in the first fight, his clone took out kakashi's clone with a Kunai knive.
Nearly blowing him up, hiding in the bottom of the river,
stating that itachi wasn't even using half his power <---Unaware of mangekyo too.

Sharingan can see chakra too, so all those times of itachi taking out the clones with Kunai knives vs. the 30% substitute that got tricked by a decoy.

Again, Seriously :|

Itachi wins mid-high difficulty. Part one Kakashi is overrated and from the fight he had against Itachi, he wouldn't have lasted long since he has crap stamina and his ninjutsu pool isn't as great as it is currently. Nothing Itachi can't effortlessly dodge with his superior shunshin. Matter of fact, Itachi didn't need Tsukiyomi to win but using Tsukiyomi would be the most efficient way of putting Kakashi down as it wouldn't waste time and it would ensure Kakashi would survive whereas if Kisame decided to finish Kakashi off, Kakashi would be done for.

Adding Asuma changes the difficulty of the fight but Itachi's exploding clones and crow clones can deal with him while the real Itachi takes on Kakashi.
