Just look at the 30% shapeshifting clone that fough Naruto, 3Tomoe Kakashi, Sakura, and Chiyo.

Naruto got caught in a finger genjustu, while kakashi was busy trying to land a hit.

In the end it required, demon-from naruto and Kakashi submitting the substitute to win the battle.

It was extremely close,even if Kakashi had to babysitting Kurenai, he was able to counter all Itachi's jutsu despite Itachi's handseal speed.

30% Itachi got owned by Kakashi's clone alone, As soon as Kakashi blocked him, Itachi was condamned , so real Kakashi could have raikiri him but Naruto just finished the job but it's not the debat since it's part 1.Chiyo and Sakura didn't even fight Itachi.

3T level of genjutsu won't work on Kakashi, the only way to win was to use mangekyou.

In their first battle he got tricked by kakashi's clone feints and and had to pull out ms.

In the second fight he got tricked by clones(again) and since he couldn't pull out ms he lost. Kakashi's clone held him in place while the real kakashi who was mere feet away could have used raikiri. But as you said naruto was on it with rasengan.

No ms means no Susano,No amaterasu no tsukyomi no yata or totsuka for Itachi

Part 1 3t kakashi and 3t itachi fight to a stand still (till itachi pull ms anyway) while kakashi was babysitting asuma and kurenai. Adding asuma makes it a mid diff fight.
