several police cars are hot on his trail and he is breathing heavily. he sees a fence and makes a running jump. he easily clears the 30ft fence.
chris thats not normal. THATS NOT NORMAL! (he says freaking out)
he hears a helicopter and he feels somthing hit his arm. he looks down to see a wide hole where his artery used to be. the wound closes up almost instantanously. chris is cornered and no where to go.
police officer we got him stand by! (he shouts)
chris leave me alone! (he shouts in fear)
police officer hey who are you? (he shouts to a man standing on the roof)
police officer i need..... back up (he quivers)
the man walks toward him and the police officers friends arrive. the man begins to walk over. 2 helicopters arrive and chris gets up. he feels drawn tot he man.
police stop where you are! (they shout offer a loud speaker)
??? stand back new breed (he says silently)
chris what? (he says in surprise)
the man continues to walk. the police officer opens fire and splits the man head wide open. however the man head reforms and he continues to walk toward the officer. he picks him up waves of small tendril like flesh surge through the mans arm. he punches the other man in the chest. for a brief moment the man has tendrils go into his body. the man start to scream in agony and the man who holds him throws him unto the ground. he begins to walk away and other police officers and even a heli come in near him. the man convulses. the man walks over and pats chris on the shoulder and smiles and turns him to watch.
chris whats happining to him! (he shouts in sadness)
??? hush acta non verba (the man says in latin)
gaint tendirls fly out of the man. they latch onto the other police officers and even the heli. they pull back into the mans body bringing everything with them. chris looks stunned. he wonders how this is possible.
chris what are you? (he asks in fear)
??? i am the evolution of the human race... i am alex mercer (he says with a since of pleasure)
he extents his hand out to chris. chris who is afraid takes it. suddenly pulses of pain hit him bringing him to his knees. he sees the through the officers eyes just a few moments ago.
