Hiruzen speed the 9 tails invasion and took orochimarus jutsu but let danzo have free reign over the seeder side of day to day operations

Minato saved the village from obito but we don't really know much about hood reign

Tsunade created the medical units in the teams, saved thousands with that, when passion attacked you guys asst holding that against her but he had a rinnegan a RINNEGAN the strongest thing in the Naruto universe how can she stack up to that, she saved people when he attacked doing more good than harm. She didn't let Naruto fight him, she was there to fight but Naruto said no go rest. She was always there for the people of the village besides when she got off her path and gambled, bit Naruto reached her and she stopped. She saved the kage multiple times during the Madara fight. If she didn't want the hokage position she could have denied it the same as j man did. She stood up to the elders which Hiruzen couldn't do. She even put a stop to danzo, till her comma. She came in with the village in pieces and did stuff to try and make it better.

If anything the worst hokage goes to Hiruzen, he did many more things wrong than any other hokage hands down.

Tsunade was not the strongest in the village either. Many ninja like Sage Mode Naruto, Sage Mode Jiraiya, Kakashi using Kamui etc could contend and destroy her. All those ninja's have been considered for hokage at one point or another as well. So the hokage being the strongest in the village was no longer correct. Her feats as hokage are nothing compared to her predecessors. Even now in the war, hiruzen is showing her up against the budha statue, being able to go blow to blow with it. She's arguably the worst hokage konoha has had and ever will have.

Monkey boy failed to kill Orochimaru while he still had the body to do so.Kabuto + Orochimaru= to Madara being brought back with upgrades. 4th failed to confirm that Obito was actually dead even if he was informed that he was dead, also failed to kill Obito when he attacked the village.. All those kages messed up and everyone has to suffer for what they did.

She's always been bashed. She never trains, abandoned her village after Dan died, partially responsible for the village being destroyed, lacks leadership skills etc. She isn't even loved by all of the villagers on the level hiruzen was. I honestly don't see her as a good hokage because she lacks everything a hokage is supposed to be.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. You say she never trains, how do you know this exactly? Because the manga/anime never shows this? You never saw Hurizen train as Hokage either.... so I guess he never trained while Hokage huh? lol Hashirama wasn't loved by the entire village either, the Uchiha count as Konohagakure as well. Your points are hollow. You expect her to surpass her predecessors' achievements in order to be considered a great Hokage. You're Tsunade bashing chief lol

Yea Hiruzen let a deranged criminal who was obssessed with forbidden jutsus and had already sacrificed several of the villagers for his experiments walk away scot free eventhough the criminal vowed to come back and destroy the village later.
He also let Danzo and the elders walk all over him. It's fair to say Hiruzen has done more to disgrace the title "Hokage" than Tsunade.

Hashirama was super strong- failed to kill of Madara properly.

Tobirama was wise- failed to satisfy Uchihas properly.

Hiruzen learned from the two above - failed to handle Danzo, let a 13 year old boy shoulder the responsibility of saving Konoha at personal cost, failed to handle the threat Kumo posed and let Hiashi take the fall, Let Oro escape ( he was the one who destroyed Konoha first.) - in short compromised in every tough situation he ever faced.

Minato- died too early.

Tsunade came at a time when Konoha was running out of Hokage candidates and suffering from a double destruction(kurama's and the Oro's attack) and loss of two hokages within a period of 12 years and a major clan Uchiha.

She saved Kakshi and Sasuke and gave Naruto a chance going against Danzou. Lee who had lost any chance as a shinobi was able to persue the career once again because of her. She handled the village which was running short on shinobies. She extended the support to Sand and managed to get them as a closer allies.

Running a country which has constantly running into one problem after another and major wars is not a small feat. She was the reason Sasuke was not already being hunted as missing nin. If she was not open minded and efficient the elders and Danzou would have made her a puppet long time ago and Naruto would have been sent in confinement.

You can hate all you want. Konoha was lucky to have her.

In any case, Tsunade is not the worst hokage by far. That lovely title goest to Hiruzen. The common slogan for the Tsunade-haters is "Tsunade failed to protect the village and let it get destroyed and had to rely on Naruto." Riiiiiight. And who destroyed the village? Pain. Who caused Nagato to become Pain? Danzo. Who let Danzo do as he pleased? Hiruzen. Which hokage during their reign actually had the brains to keep him in check and not let the elders push their weight around? Tsunade.


The simple fact is that the greatest fault people assign to Tsunade was actually the result of Hiruzen's blunder. Does anyone here actually think Hiruzen could last 2 seconds against Pain? At least Tsunade managed to save village lives via medical ninjutsu. Hiruzen has no such life-saving capabilities. If Hiruzen were hokage during Pain's invasion, the village would have been much, much worse off.

You obviously underestimate her greatly if you think these are facts. :/ Tsunade is a great hokage and did the best she could in desperate situations.
If I recall correct Hiruzen basically destroyed everything by letting Uchiha massacre happen. :'D

Also Tsunade beats Hiruzen mid diff AND is in the same skill level with Minato.

Wow, I don't like Tsunade, but seriously? This hate is unwarranted. All Hokages sucked. At least Tsunade ACTUALLY tried to mingle in with the community. The most communicating Leader out of all. She tried her best to protect the village. People survived Deva's attacks because of her. To begrudge all that she did, especially putting Elders and Danzo in their place and shit on her is freaking stupid.
