Welcome to my thread. As always manga scans are in spoilers. Also this isn't a character bashing thread but an analysis of of the five countries and the shinobi powers.

Every Shinobi generation has always had incredible shinobi. Hanzo, Sannin, Gaara, 3rd raikage etc but none have ever been comparable to the first four hokage. I'm going to present to you, manga scans that prove the first four hokage were the best shinobi of their time.

Yes, the strongest Kage, not shinobi. Madara is an easy 2nd place before War Arc. Now he is pretty much #1.

FTG alone wouldn't really make him that powerful. Quick, yes. I mean he doesn't really have other feats other than that. Rasengan was mastered by Naruto, of all people. The only other tech that can be spoken of is his sealing techs.

Minato loses to Sasori? Sakura and Chiyo took him down... Gaara? Itachi? Minato's speed is greater than their reaction time.

Orochimaru > hiruzen simply isn't true according to kishimoto. I can't speak on minato or tobirama just because those are all hypothetical.

Hiruzen seriously just sucks. The ninja in his era must have been weak as hell for him to be the strongest among them.
Also I'd say that Tsunade is also the most skilled one of the current kage, Gaara and possibly Onoki still beating her for being bad match ups(ability to fly).
Although Tsunade can jump the highest of all ninjas.

They are not the four strongest of all time if that is what you mean. Itachi is stronger than Hiruzen, and on par with the fourth, even though he didnt become hokage. Orochimaru is on par with, maybe stronger than hiruzen. There are also other individuals like Nagato who actually is better than all of them.
