I never once stated that Madara GJ > Itachi's however, I said it's a possibility that it could be equal or greater. This thread is speculation and until the Naruto manga ends, we don't know for a fact that Madara will display Tsukuyomi to that of Itachi's. Obviously going off feats,

However, the OP does state that he used the genjutsu that was to be cast on the moon. If it wasn't tsukuyomi, can you prove what it was?

I believe Madara was just explaining the properties of genjutsu to Obito. I'm glad we agree that by feats, Itachi is better though.

Madara explained his genjutsu as something similar to what Itachi uses, both their eyes are the same, but we've never seen Madara use genjutsu to that level, just a few on fodder and Kage. Come to think of it, we haven't seen any of his Mangekyo powers yet.

No. He wasn't and yet you still can't disprove that it wasn't Tsukuyomi. He specifically referred to the genjutsu he cast on Obito as one he was going to use on the moon. AKA Tsukuyomi

There are several instances of Itachi using similar genjutsu's to the one Madara used on Obito. He had an entire conversation with Naruto in a genjutsu realm while changing his form.

Itachi's Tsukuyomi manipulates time. Therefore his Tsukuyomi can 1 shot any non uchiha. Madara hasn't shown this feat. Madara, like Sasuke is better at ninjutsu.

That Genjutsu Madara used is similar to Itachi's less complex genjutsu's.

The Ten-tails making it more powerful is to be expected.

Don't know what Madara's genjutsu is capable of but Itachi's is currently better.


Don't know how Madara wanting to cast infinite Tsukyomi implies he has it himself.

1. Since he was attached to the Gedo, he could've used it to cast IT on a much smaller scale to show Obito what he was talking about.

2. Obito was a few minutes himself from casting IT on the entire world and I don't recall him having Tsukyomi. Which could mean that the Juubi itself is the one casting IT.
