well there is quite alot of E and D rank moves so with the battle it'll be kind like the chunin exams and the mod, admin or someone with authorities can examine their battle and see if they need how to defend or think their ways around the battle and stuff like that......i dont know if its good or not im just giving a suggestion
hrmm =/
i like it.. so when they move into the next rank they could use C rank jutsus

i think there should be something depending both on the posts and time someone is a member of this forum, that way even if you spam as hell, you won't e able to use high rank jutsus after 1 week (for example)

I was thinking this too. You get a certain amount of posts (somewhat low) to become eligible to fight in the "Chunin exams." That person fights a senior member. If the senior member thinks the person they are fighting is good enough to become a Chunin, then they become a Chunin. Then, as Chunin, they'll be able to use B-rank jutsus and under. And etc.

Again, I don't know if this is a good idea or not, I'm just trying to give a suggestion.

He's saying that you would need senior members that aren't judgemental or are like mediators. They are not on any one side. =/

And he's not a good mediator/neutral person when it comes to judging....>_>
Well, there gotta be someone who's right for the job...

But who...?

My suggestions:

1. A whole reviewing of the fighters here, and their rank is decided based on their battle experience, training and performance in certain fights.
Not posts, not time online...just see how they fight and decide^^

2. People who get to decide are the SENSEIS and not the mods, same goes for the customs jutsus.
For example: Hellbadass is the water kage. if someone wants to create a water jutsu he posts it in the "water jutsus" thread. Hells gets to decide if it is overpowered or not and that actually means if it can be dodged effectively or not. If it gets Grimm's approval the member then posts it to the current jutsu thread and it also gets approved from the mods (at least 3 of them).
It's an example, Elias gets to do the fire jutsus, Bisha the earth jutsus, Zanji the elemental Jutsus and so on. Also if another sensei disagrees with the approval, his opinion DOES matter.

3. Custom elements: Only one for each member and reviewed and approved by all senseis and mods.

4. Nexus, makes a thread about who is training who, cause i have noticed senseis asking to be trained more and ppl having 2 senseis. In this way everyone gets to be trained in ALL elements for a period of time from ALL SENSEIS.

5. And then comes the tournament. According to their ranks, battles are given and the winner of each rank gets awards.

that's it people, and this is what i was suggesting since the beginning, some people just intimidated you that i wanted to take your jutsus away and that's just silly. In this way, fighters and senseis get to approve and decline and only they can do it anyway cause they are the ones who battle the most.
Mods only stay there to make sure everything is according to the rules.

PS. Before anyone says sth disturbing about me, please check my sections and you will see that i have powers in the battle arena and the character's bios and the custom jutsus, but i never used them even when i got a jutsu declined for .... reasons.
i agree 100% :D i rly like ur ideas :p

thanks girl, they are only suggestions, but still this convo is interesting and i think tsukoshi's system although complicated a bit, is the best.

even if you took it off a post system for battling people would still spam for custom jutsu submissions... and especially elements...
True that, especially for the custom elements, that's why some people are suggesting that posts shouldn't count for anything at all^^

It's pretty simple. There used to be a group on this forum called "The RuleMaker's Group", they were people selected by the rest of the forum to create a set of battle rules. When the idea of using posts counts was suggested, Versuvio originally argued that he didn't like the idea because it would cause people to just start spamming to get their ranks up. But it was agreed that it was fine for short term use as a ranking system until a system was put into place that in which mission completion and testing could be preformed to increase users ranks. The whole post count thing was never a final solution and was flawed by design. We knew it and we had no intention of using it. BUT, pein87 (a member of the RuleMaker's Group) became a moderator and basically decided he didn't care what the rest of the group said, and took the temporary rule system that was created and modified it into his "Official Battle Arena Rules". Since then, the rules have just been revisions of a flawed system.

If you want to talk a functional rule system, you can put into place a structured hierarchy. Select the senior-most users on the forum and choose maybe 7 of them that have a history of disagreeing with each other to act as the members of the group. These top members would be in charge of creating challenging tests and missions for each of the ranks. Each of these people should select 2 sensei, these people would be in charge of handing out the tests and missions. Every 10 weeks the senior members will need to re-select 2 new sensei to make things fair. And once a year new senior members should be selected. At least that's one of many possible solutions.
this one, a little complicated, but it could work ^^

I semi agree with this... i think people should be tested in terms of smarts, strategic thinking, and performance, its easy for someone to say they have alot of experience but its because they spar with the same person 100 times...
2. People who get to decide are the SENSEIS and not the mods, same goes for the customs jutsus.

I agree with the FIRST part of this...
I think the sensei's approval is key... i think that after they get the sensei's approval 1 mod would be enough though... this would also give alot of relevance to the Order Of Elemental Sages too... 3 approvals would take way too long and be too arduous of a process to even bother with... and what happens if one of the members takes a leave of absence like madara... madara should be in charge of either lightning or fire... and hes not here right now... and if this goes into effect i can kiss the making of ANY water customs goodbye...
3. Custom elements: Only one for each member and reviewed and approved by all senseis and mods.
Meh... i still kinda like 2... its not that easy to get to 10,000 posts... even for spammers...
there should be a time requirement of like 6 months added to the second one though imo...
4. Nexus, makes a thread about who is training who, cause i have noticed senseis asking to be trained more and ppl having 2 senseis. In this way everyone gets to be trained in ALL elements for a period of time from ALL SENSEIS.
Dont really see the point of this...
too much work for nexus...
and again what if nexus takes another break?
