Problems with the battle system...

1. its a cool idea =/ wat r u doin to wit the posts?
i feel the posts should accounted becoz every tom, D and harry will claim that they r the best =/ trust me its very annoyin when they challenge me. the posts should determine wheather u can use the jutsus and ranks (in order to use those jutsus not determinin your battle status) =/ and there should be awaitin period to be a kage or sannin etc..
example.. DS, kuzu and some others spam like crazy -.- there should be a waitin be a watin period in order to move to the next stage.. u have to be a member 4 three months.

Yes you have a point there, my main idea is that those things should be decided by the senseis -all- and then approved by the mods and admins.
No one can know better than the people who fight everyday and actually invented the battle system here.
But another idea could be this: Nexus (i insist on Nexus) makes a training board, from all fighters here (the ones who have had training) and we see who can do what. Then the senseis again (and the mods, no problems there) get to decide who must be of what rank and their online time will be considered, but that's for you senseis to decide it.
For the new fighters with no training, it will only be a beginning.

So everyone gets a rank and a month later, after everyone gets trained from at least 2 senseis, you overview the ranks and decide who needs to go up or stay in the current rank state ^^

2. i like that ^^ but the mods should also aprove the jutsus, in order to make it fair >> i know ppl will get pissed and revolt sayin that hellsbadass is currupt and he is only aprovin his friend's jutsus..

Yes, i said so you senseis do the approval at first and then the members take the approved by the senseis jutsus and post them again to get approved by the mods.
And some people are already pissed with some jutsus approved and i am one of them.

3. 2 customs r better >> btw its not very easy to get those elements approved =/

I still think one is enough...cause an element can be weak for example against fire and then the member makes another element that is strong against fire...what will happen if they get combined? hard to dodge...
and also no posts taken into account for that, only battle training.

4. the reason y ppl have more than one sensei is bcoz thats wat we have being for months since the begin O_O i did the same thing.. i learnt water from CK, couple of earth jutsu from b.sama, a couple of fire from MOS and b.sama.. chidori from a kakashi character.. bcoz >> bcoz u used chidori is kakashi's jutsu, so we must learnt it from a kakashi character.. we later changed bcoz ppl were gettin overpowered >> u wat i mean right?
and the reason y i dont teach all the elements to my students.. is bcoz i dont know all of them O_O
i am master at water bcoz its my element.. i know a few earth bcoz its my weakness and i cannot teach it to any1 bcoz i dont know all of it. same wit the other elements. >> yes i asked for trainin bcoz i need to master earth

We will all get to be in the training boards to learn everything.
since everyone wants to use all elements, we can give all elements but in a fair way for all. we all get trained

5. tournament -.0 crappy idea trust me its very touble some. ppl will enter and then drop out soon as the tournament start (i am not sayin anything bad about u kanda, u had a perfectly good reason and i understand. we all have lifes) then u have to assigne them.. then u have to watch over the battles :S i have already have trouble wit the tenbatsu tournament.. and the tournaments never tourn out well -.- we had some mant tournaments in the begining and they all faild

sure they failed, but now with 4 capable mods here and official senseis this is going to be easier and will motivate ppl to participate more
and if it fails, we say we tried once more and didn't succeed, no one gets hurt.

If they are the top battlers they should prove it by having the same abilities as all the rest.
i am a fair person and i want this to be fair for all, this is why i am doing this although it means a hell of work to be done >.<

The Tournaments have always turned out to be an epic fail because there is always one person needed to be watching one person needed to make sure ppl want to continue to participate then and there is the one who must judge as many fights as he/she can before they need to have someone else do so.

Well my suggestion wasn't about the tournaments only, this can be arranged. What about the other things? You are a mod and a sensei, suggest things too, tell me where i am wrong, what else should be taken into account etc.

ahh So I see I am not the only one who has noticed XD meh I could careless XD I have never used the battling system since I got here XD Me, Madara, HBA, CK, Sweet and a few others made the system when we first started fighting with just posting the name of the attack and the description of it I mean those were the good days and I still had most beat with tactical and strategic thinking

I have never been a fan of the "post count" system where you have to have a high post count to battle pshhh nah I think it more or less relies on how well the person can think

Dont get me wrong I give props to those who can get thousands of posts in no time but the thing is look at Grimm (sorry for using you as the example) He has damn near 30000 posts and I can still beat him in a matter of a couple moves as can someone else I am always thinking about ^^

But still he doesnt give up and he still fights the same way ^^

The Post Count shouldnt matter at all

In the chatterbox forum games we cant do anything because thats the rules of it XD spam spam spam XD thats why there are so many of those pointless games we cant stop them in there :/ no matter how hard we want to we cant XD plus some of us have been a victim to that area *innocent whistle*

I say no to the post count and I will type up new rules to be voted on once a few things are taken care of first (real life things not nb related)

When the rules were first setup by the "Rulemakers Group" the idea of setting everything around post counts was originally supposed to be temporary until facilities were added to the board which could support a mission/test system. Unfortunately, everything we had planned was dropped when pein87 became a mod and more or less took over setting the rules. Afterwhich it's just been one update after another of the original, initially temporary, design. This whole thread seems to be pointing out what the RG originally stated to begin with... this site needs a structured hirarchy to deligate the testing/ranking of individuals -- seperate from the moderators/forum staff.
