Problems with the battle system...

Actually, those are the current rules. The problem is that people aren't following it. I had to wait just like everyone else, but it doesn't hurt to wait. The point of fighting is not just to spam your way up the ladder. You can be able to use all the S-ranks in the world, but lose to a person with D-ranks if you have no battle experience.

That's how things were done before, and that's the reason why such people as me, Bisha, Grimmjow, Madara, Zanji, Elias, and others are so well respected. Because we waited out, took our time to learn and grow in battle, and became great through hard work and endurance--not by spamming our way up.

I agree with what you're saying. Maybe we can try to get people to follow those old rules. I don't mind waiting...

I sort of agree and disagree. I like the idea of a test to go up ranks, but that's just because I have low post because I try not to spam. On the other hand, the rules applied at the moment make sense and I like them. Here's a suggestion:

1. Have x amount of missions lead up to a (rank) exam.

2. To qualify for the jutsu, not the rank have x amount of post.

3. Keep all other rules the same.

How's that? Just kinda took what I've read so far, and put it into one idea.

First: We change the number of element one can possess to 3, and one custom only per person. No one can possess all those 5 elements, and even 4 is absurd. This will make people stop spamming to get their 3-4-5 elements, and make them focus more on the one they have.

Second: We make the post count lower( so no more spamming), but we put the emphasis on the time u have been here on NB. Recently, a bar showing how long u've been on NB has been put, I say that this bar gets bigger and will serve has a reference in fight to see if someone has: the post count and the experience sufficient to use X jutsu.


I know that this is a big change, but I don't see anyother way.

O_O And 1 custom jutsu, that's just like dictatorship. Everyone has everything exactly the same. It would make even more people leave the forum. And everyone would lose all of their great customs that theya re proud of. LIke my Music arts...>_>

Because people would be over the limit by far and then some newbies (who have been here for maybe about a month) and reach the certain requirements, will be just as strong as the senior members....
Besides, like I said, we tried it out long ago and it didn't work out. Plus, we have waaayy to many people to have such a heavy restriction.

My suggestions:

1. A whole reviewing of the fighters here, and their rank is decided based on their battle experience, training and performance in certain fights.
Not posts, not time online...just see how they fight and decide^^

2. People who get to decide are the SENSEIS and not the mods, same goes for the customs jutsus.
For example: Hellbadass is the water kage. if someone wants to create a water jutsu he posts it in the "water jutsus" thread. Hells gets to decide if it is overpowered or not and that actually means if it can be dodged effectively or not. If it gets Grimm's approval the member then posts it to the current jutsu thread and it also gets approved from the mods (at least 3 of them).
It's an example, Elias gets to do the fire jutsus, Bisha the earth jutsus, Zanji the elemental Jutsus and so on. Also if another sensei disagrees with the approval, his opinion DOES matter.

3. Custom elements: Only one for each member and reviewed and approved by all senseis and mods.

4. Nexus, makes a thread about who is training who, cause i have noticed senseis asking to be trained more and ppl having 2 senseis. In this way everyone gets to be trained in ALL elements for a period of time from ALL SENSEIS.

5. And then comes the tournament. According to their ranks, battles are given and the winner of each rank gets awards.

that's it people, and this is what i was suggesting since the beginning, some people just intimidated you that i wanted to take your jutsus away and that's just silly. In this way, fighters and senseis get to approve and decline and only they can do it anyway cause they are the ones who battle the most.
Mods only stay there to make sure everything is according to the rules.

PS. Before anyone says sth disturbing about me, please check my sections and you will see that i have powers in the battle arena and the character's bios and the custom jutsus, but i never used them even when i got a jutsu declined for .... reasons.

Hmmmmm how about the dedicated sensei's report back to mod's and say how much training the students have done and how much experience they have,then they could be given a dedicated colour to there name as to what rank they are and what justu's they could use?I mean the sensei's and mods would have there own dedicated colours aswell but a colour coded name ranking list would that not work?I mean e.g. if your name was highlighted in green you could use S rank jutsu's?.......You get my drift but it seems like a simple solution of the sensei's reporting back to the mod's and the students going through a test of some sort to see if they are worthy of changing there name colour and upping there rank sortve like a chuunin exam or a jounin exam???

well i dont know about that cause everyone will get to have a colored name and that could be confusing to the guests, they won't know who is what here. They will come here and make threads like: "I am new i want yellow" or so

Still maybe something like that could be added as a bar if the admins are for it.

1. its a cool idea =/ wat r u doin to wit the posts?
i feel the posts should accounted becoz every tom, D and harry will claim that they r the best =/ trust me its very annoyin when they challenge me. the posts should determine wheather u can use the jutsus and ranks (in order to use those jutsus not determinin your battle status) =/ and there should be awaitin period to be a kage or sannin etc..
example.. DS, kuzu and some others spam like crazy -.- there should be a waitin be a watin period in order to move to the next stage.. u have to be a member 4 three months.

2. i like that ^^ but the mods should also aprove the jutsus, in order to make it fair >> i know ppl will get pissed and revolt sayin that hellsbadass is currupt and he is only aprovin his friend's jutsus..

3. 2 customs r better >> btw its not very easy to get those elements approved =/

4. the reason y ppl have more than one sensei is bcoz thats wat we have being for months since the begin O_O i did the same thing.. i learnt water from CK, couple of earth jutsu from b.sama, a couple of fire from MOS and b.sama.. chidori from a kakashi character.. bcoz >> bcoz chidori is kakashi's jutsu, so we must learnt it from a kakashi character.. we later changed bcoz ppl were gettin overpowered >> u wat i mean right?
and the reason y i dont teach all the elements to my students.. is bcoz i dont know all of them O_O
i am master at water bcoz its my element.. i know a few earth bcoz its my weakness and i cannot teach it to any1 bcoz i dont know all of it. same wit the other elements. >> yes i asked for trainin bcoz i need to master earth

5. tournament -.0 crappy idea trust me its very touble some. ppl will enter and then drop out soon as the tournament start (i am not sayin anything bad about u kanda, u had a perfectly good reason and i understand. we all have lifes) then u have to assigne them.. then u have to watch over the battles :S i have already have trouble wit the tenbatsu tournament.. and the tournaments never tourn out well -.- we had so many tournaments in the begining and they all faild

Yeh but you know what im getting at we could have a sticky thread explaining the colour coding etc...(either the name or a bar as you say),explaining which jutsu's can be used for certain colours and would be an easier way of fighting people on the same ranking maybe adding bold and underlining and italics to make mods and sensei's names look different?something to define them from the students?
