problem with tobi's eye

hi all,

I got a problem with tobi's eye, its now known that he has obito's eye (if he is obito or not is another story, he does have a collection of eyes) but his eye is only a MS because it dosent look differnt than kakashi so why hasnt he gone blind??? he has been spamming that thing since the start of the series. :shrug:

Hes using Senju dna it boosts Sharingan by a lot (Danzo) And since Kakashis eye is linked he wont go blind untill Tobi goes.

That's a pretty good theory, only problem I see is that tobi had MS back when he fought Minato so....... technically Kakashi should have had it back then

I think Kakashi just trained to get it and that's it, and he has experienced loss over the years. Also if you go by the theories of tobi being obito then he isn't blind probably because of senju dna and like you said because they are linked kakashi shouldnt go blind either or.....

Kakashi won't go blind because it is transferred, and if tobi isn't obito regardless of senju dna, he shouldnt go blind either because of transfer

Never looked at it from that way, I don't know why since it is so simple, but it got passed me, so +reps.

I do however disagree that Kakashi will not go blind in that eye and as stated the blood was merely an over-stressing/usage of too much chakra thing. Kakashi's Sharingan/MS is ALWAYS activated which is why he covers it up. I think it is more the fact that he has no Uchiha blood coursing through his veins, plus being the type of clan they are, it has always been their way of separating the weak from the strong AKA they all HAVE to go blind to reach their ULTIMATE goal of gaining EMS and we know how that is done. All of the relevant Uchiha (Itachi, Sasuke and from what we know Madara) all started going blind after MS activation along with gaining Tsukuyomi in one eye (Itachi's left and that is the only person I know) and Amaterasu in the other eye (Itachi's right eye) and eventually Susanoo. Even then they can still deactivate MS/Sharingan at will as opposed to Kakashi who can't and it is always activated, sucking chakra away which he can only limit by covering it up.

I do however very much so enjoy your theory on how Kakashi got his MS. Best one I have seen yet.

Kakashis MS cant have awakened because Tobis one did. If you recall the attack on Konoha, Tobi used his s/t jutsu against Minato so Tobi had MS during that time but kakashi didnt, he still had the 3T sharingan.

Based on my observation, Tobi just used Kamui for the first time today since the beginning of his appearance.
For story purposes, if Kishi made Tobi use Kamui early on, then half the suspense of finding out who he is would have been taken away. So my assumption is Kishi will explain to us that Tobi, through his power and Senju DNA, was able to use the S/T jutsu without MS. He probably knew the the affects of MS but knew how precious that technique was, so he made it his business to find away to use it without going blind and ultimately losing it.
If any of you are familiar with DBZ, its similar to when Goku/Gohan trained in the hyperbolic time chamber to the point where they can naturally sustain being a super saiyan without using up their Ki.

Kishi made it obvious to us that this is THE first appearance of Tobi's Kamui MS form when Tobi said " Having a borrowed power that you can not fully use is not enough to intimidate me, HERE'S A TASTE OF THE FULL POWER OF KAMUI!!"

This means the level that Kakashi is using kamui with MS is not the FULL POWER OF KAMUI! What Tobi can do with his normal sharingan, Kakashi has to use MS for, is how I interpret the statement.


You want an Eye problem, well here's an eye problem....when is he going to use his RINNEGAN?!!! I know kishi wanted to build on "Obito's eye' but he has an even more powerful eye sitting in his left socket unused. thats quite unreal to me.

Kakashi did say that one day he had new power when he found out that he actually had MS and learned how to activate it during deidara and gaara part.
He mentioned something that he has new power that he learns to use aka he did not know that he had MS all along and just learned to turn it on. Remember took him very long time to actually change 3 tomoe into MS so he probably had the MS all along but did not know how to activate it.

Really Tobi has had Kamui since he fought with Minato. How come Kakashi did not have MS way back then?

ok then how about this, when kakashi was fighting against the fake itachi during the garra story,how did kakashi know itachi was going blind from using his MS unless kakashi was having vision problems himself with his MS
