An Old Edo Hiruzen who does not share the same Chakra reserves as his Prime and is also slightly weakened according to Tobirama.

Is able to have his low Chakra reserves manhandle 4 Kage Bunshins (Double the amount he used during the Orochimaru fight were 2 Clones would shorten his life span) use all 5 Elements simultaneously (without hand seals) to a level which matched the Buddha Staue's own Elements which the 5 Kage + Ninja Alliance couldn't even defend against. If you look closely, it even made everyone on the scan look like ants compared to the Elements.

If he is able to do that during an Old Age + plus the fact that Edo Tensei only revived him at almost full power of his old age only begs people to wonder how powerful Prime Hiruzen would be, or better yet Prime Edo Hiruzen. Kishi knew he would be to OP so he nerfed him not to be revived at this state.

Prime Hiruzen was undoubtedly a beast. He was most likely more powerful than Minato and Tobirama (alive Minato, meaning no BM). That isn't to say that he would win against them; Minato may be able to beat Hiruzen due to his speed.

Prime Hiruzen would have been faster and physically stronger. Much better at taijutsu. He would have higher stamina, meaning higher chakra reserves, and thus an ability to perform more high-level jutsu (he could truly take advantage of the fact that he had mastery over all five elements). He would also make a more effective combo with Enma, and be able to actually wield the staff.

I reckon that, in order:

1. Hashirama Senju
2. Hiruzen Sarutobi
3. Tobirama Senju
4. Minato Namikaze
5. Tsunade Senju

Awesome post. However, the topic of Minato vs Tobirama has been going on for so long now, that i just consider them equal at this point. Unless it's KCM/BM, then Minato stomps .
