Based on Feats and Hype

There are no other ninja capable of defeating these two shinobi when they are tag teamed together.

Hiruzen Solo Feats:

I hate that people keep underrating hiruzen.

Hiruzen fought Orochimaru, Hashirama, Tobirama in a 3v1

To fight Itachi would be like having your eyes closed entire fight. Which is impossible to do.

Itachi has beaten two of the most powerful shinobi in the series 0 sweat DSM Kabuto and Edo Nagato.

Both these shinobi were near invinicible and only had 1 counter. Itachi being completely invincible had those counters and used them to defeat them.

He has been praised by ALL Top Tier Shinobi

Hashirama said Itachi was better than him
Hiruzen said Itachi was as smart as him, Hashirama,Tobirama,and Minato by age 7
Danzo admitted Sasuke was fodder compared to Itachi
Gokage praised them.
Obito feared and praised him
Kabuto praised him
Naruto praised him
Kakashi Praised him.
Sasuke wanked and praised him
Tobirama praised him
Shishu praised him
Kisame Praised him
Nagato apologized for being solo by him

With all this information how can he not be #1? Wake up people

Show me scans were Hiruzen countered the hydra, the FTG, and the Hashi's flower tree world and sage statue.
THEN we will begin to discuss. otherwise, we all know, Orochimaru was going SUPER easy, and so were the kage, and still Hiruzen lost, with HIGH diff, and all he did was take orochimaru's arms, which meant nothing 100 or so chapters later. Fail

Hiruzen used Anti Jutsu Jutsu that cancels out opponents jutsu off panel.. Just like he used it to solo Minato edo form instantly.

I think you're trolling.
First of all, Yata has no "feats", only hype. Its only feat is deflecting several poorly thrown shuriken.
Second of all, Kamui can be used on anything Kakashi can see. Meaning it can be used on Itachi, even if he's hiding behind Yata - Yata is transparent after all.
Third of all, hype is worth anything only if it's supported by feats at least a bit. Just like no one believes Sasuke anymore when he says in Land of Waves arc that base Sharingan can defeat any taijutsu, genjutsu and ninjutsu.

So no, Kakashi & Obito >>>>>>>> Hiruzen & Itachi

One couldn't ascend to his peak and all his hype is speculated...
One has shown nothing worthy to be called a Shinobi no Kami...

Both are individual greats but as a team their performance would be again an unveil-able hype...

That wasn't Hahsirama really, he was being controlled and weaker than normal. Same with tobi I think. Hizeren couldn't even solo Orochimaru when he was a fodder compared to now, adding Tsunade and Jirayah is over kill
