Giovanni listens to the instructions and smiles. He draws a kunai throwing it directly abovw himself. He proceeds to multiply the kunai creating a hundred more. As the kunai begin their descent towards Giovanni, he begins spinning where at the same time he releases a huge amount of chakra from all his tenketsu. With the chakra manipulation and his rotation thechakra is turned into a dome which grows outwards repelling all the kunai. Giovanni stops rotating feeling slightly dizzy.

How big is this actually?

Big but still under short range. It occupies the whole short range IMO so do the maths.
