Idk maybe it will be made clearer cause the giant wave isn't darkened like the candy. So.. But I just wouldn't think it'd be right for the soul of a df user to use the ocean. That's so op. That's better than black beards fruit.. Like it just doesn't make sense. She could easily just splash people and win

But like someone else said above, not every homie is made from her soul. So it might not be her soul in the ocean homie. You're biggest hangup is her soul shouldn't work in the ocean, well it may not be her soul in the ocean.

I thought it was obvious that she first animated the ocean to create a tidal wave (the candy slug isn't big enough to create a tidal wave that size), then atfterwards she animated the candy slug. The Tsunami clearly has a face on it.
