Lol, smh, you're half right. Me quoting him is "still mentioning/bringing up something" but it's not "using it as an argument" especially when I clearly left the chidori part out of my reply. You quote people for various reason's, plenty of which don't mean you're using that quote as an argument. For example: you can quote a sentence you disagree/agree with or a sentence you're about to rebut. Neither of those situations is using a sentence you quoted as your own argument.
Smh, I explained the difference. I can't read his mind and with all the Sasuke underestimization on the forum I have no idea who he's caliing his cqc trash in comparison to. (I can make guesses or I can ask him to clarify which he replied "it's something he absolutely needs if he's going to fight anyone of moderate tier.") Like I said, Sasuke underestimization, he thinks Adult Sasuke needs his sharingan to fight people of "moderate tier" which means an average ninja (moderate means average in this context) absolutely ridiculous. As dantee posted above, Sasuke took out hundreds of average ninja in the beginning of part 2 without leaving a drop of blood. The logical conclusion is that he thinks Adult Sasuke's sharinganless cqc is on par with "moderate tiers" since he believes the sharingan is something Sasuke "absolutely needs" if he's going to fight people of only that level.
Finally, depending on the starting distance the only people Sasuke needs his sharingan against are demi-god and up tier characters. (And considering that most fights in the series start at relatively close distances) He and Naruto blitz prime Hashirama, Ay, onoki, Minato, Killer Bee, any Madara who isn't JJ, Gaara, etc... and anyone else you wan't to name who isn't a Juubi Jin or Otsutsuki. (maybe not dms obito/kakashi if they start with phasing right away, and 8th gate Gai, but he can be blitzed before he even activates the gates) Look at the fused Momoshiki fight, their footspeed is so fast they uproot giant roots and destroy rocks with their takeoff, that footspeed blitzes everyone I named, let's not even talk about shunshin.
