Hiruzen fight usually is an example of this excuse, but here people fail to realize, Hiruzen HAD to end it quickly. If he had started to show off, he would've been killed without stopping the Hokages.

I agree he had to end it quickly, But even then the anbu watching stated it to be a kage level battle. So an Old hiruzen who was stated to be nothing compared to his prime was still able to put on a kage level fight without even trying to show off?.

Even though that actually helps hiruzen, I can't really see that being the case.

Even so, Part one tobirama was praised for using a suiton tech with no source of water, Yet in the current war arc even nameless fodders can do the same.

Itachi's Tsukiyomi was really the only time such a "1 shot" ability happened like that, in part 1.

Part 2 you see this much more, such as: FRS, Enton/Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi, KA, Deidara's C0, Meteor, Ninja who can push villages apart, Susnano'o, Totsuka, TBB, etc.

The difference is, we're seeing much more God like abilities in part 2 vs. part 1, that is undeniable and if Itachi's 1 time use of Tsukyomi is your only argument that nothing has changed then lol.

None the less, it's still a damn good Manga/Anime.

A perfect example of this is Hiruzen, those using that excuse for him. You simply can't compare him to Hashirama, when he could only last 3 chapters against the two weakened Hokage who were toying with him. Especially when Hashirama was stated to make the Gokage's cumulative efforts look like nothing on more than one occasion by the only one who experienced the true extent of his power.
