[Discussion] Powerful DF wasted on weak characters

1- Sugar's Toy Fruit (imagine if somebody like Garp ate it?)

2- Enels Lightning Fruit (Imagine if Shanks ate it? He would solo the world)

3- Perona's ghost depression fruit(It turns you into scum! Imagine if Mihawk had it?)

Above are just examples of what i think are powerful DF wasted on weak fodder characters

If any of these guys ate fruit, that they wouldn't train in some other aspects.

Mihawk wouldn't have such good skills in art of sword, and in the end because of that he actually can end weaker.

Shanks with Enels fruit would be game over for everybody. Not so sure about the other fruits that you mentioned though I'm not a big fan of either honestly.

I can do the same thing. Luffy's DF is so waisted on him, imagine if Garp had it!!! See OP this is why what you said is invalid, Luffy has some of the best DF mastery in the series, but the top tiers got there because of OP DFs or insane Haki.

I think that the weight fruit that the girl from Crocs team used was extremely wasteful though.

In my opinion, the Goro Goro no Mi wasn't wasted at all on Enel. The power of lightning is a natural devastating power, anyone can use it to wreck shit. In my opinion, Enel ironically took in a different direction that showed he was perfect for his fruit, Enel used his fruit in conjecture with his intelligence and Haki to have the best Observation Haki in the series so far, and to control a freakin' spaceship by bending and controlling metals.

In a way, Enel took the Goro Goro no Mi, and made it more than a simple powerhouse, and there's no guarantee other characters could have used the Goro Goro no Mi in the genius ways Enel did.

enel is not weak as many say its just a bad matchup.and yes top tiers can use any df easily but they cant master it like the original users.
