What are you even talking about? This isn't a vs thread, if you couldn't tell.
It is not an asspull. Izanami and Izanagi as well as other Sharingan jutsu came from a myth written by someone whom Kishi apparently draws huge inspiration from. Some of us knew Izanami would most likely be featured in this manga and since Itachi said every jutsu has a weakness and Izanagi was already used , its only plausible to expect or not be surprised if Izanami is used in this manga. Regular genjutsu works on DSM Kabuto as well , the only reason it didn't is because Kabuto put some extra eyelids over his eyeballs and changed his senses into snake senses. All it takes is the right carefully thought of strategy . They could have even used Susano'o's hands to hold Kabuto still if they caught him and Itachi or Sasuke could have walked up and took his eyelids off and forced him to obey with genjutsu. All they had to do was catch him. btw Kabuto cutting Itachi was apart of Itachi's jutsu and plan for Izanami to work more potently.
Not to mention Kabuto was mixed with so many different DNAs that also causes himself to feel under pressure of his own jutsu and he also helped defeat himself. ^_^ not an asspull.. just not mentioned previously before the arc.

So..you're telling me this random jutsu that only works in specific circumstances is not a asspull?I called bullsh*t as soon as Izanami was introduced because that was the only way Itachi could defeat Kabuto without killing him,since Kabuto was immune to ocular genjutsu.
he's not immune to ocular genjutsu unless he closes off his senses to sight.
It *IZANAMI* is a *LOOP* of actions, physical sensations that could work in any situation because of the physical vibrations and what it does to the outside of the body. Most people only think about what it does to the mental part of the victim without including it requires physical touch. Kabuto was pretty much MENTALLY unstable as well as having Orochimaru's DNA all over him . Plus ORO and Kabuto both being in Aww of Itachi probably didn't help his defense . Kabuto was also overconfident and arrogant which is uncharacteristic of him considering he is very smart and he wasn't too bright in this battle. He was bound to lose. Plus all they had to do was catch him and force him with genjutsu . Kishi just chose this way because it was what he came up with at the time. ^_^ not an asspull .
