Seriously, who cares whether or not a power is given, stolen, or anything else like that? I mean, does it really matter?
When someone says "Hey, that's not Naruto/Sasuke/Kabuto/Obito's power! He shouldn't use it!" it translates to "I can't counter the power he's using, so I'll b*tch instead!"
Are you going to enter the manga and personally tell then what you think about their power? No? Will they care about your opinion or stop using that power?? No?!
Then shut up. It's totally irrelevant because they can use every power they have whether you like it or not.

When Izanami is called an asspull most of the time because Itachi never used the word Izanami when he was alive, but...
Kabuto has Karin, Suigetsu, Jugo, Orochimaru, Tayuya, Kidomaru, Jirobo, Sakon, Kimimaro's power, EDO Tensei army that can compete with an Alliance consisting of Shinobi from every Ninja Village including some Samurai and everybody acts like its completely reasonable. Also Kabuto has Dragon Sage Mode out of nowhere just cuz he says he trained with the Dragon Sage. These are Kabuto using abilities he's never done before against TWO Uchiha SHaringan specialist and when he loses to Izanami ( a new word to most people at that time) in his own Cave, his own turf, he had the locational and situational advantage against two guys who refused to kill him.

I disagree, Minato and the kages are hokages because of their own jutsu, and since Naruto wants to be hokage he needs more use and with his own power usage.

Now am I wrong? Even though the 3nd mizu had the 3 tails, he had more jutsu and was smart because he mastered his beast.
