1. The technique is called Eight Gates, the last gate is called the 8th Gate. Stop getting it mixed up. When someone refers to the power of the 8 gates, they mean the Gates in all, not the final gate.
2. 5-7th Gate would be enough to solo your fave without activating 8th Gate.
