Explanation:


As we know the basis of Genjutsu requires controlling the flow of the opponents chakra and controlling their 5 senses.

And the way to counter this is to disrupt your own chakra or have someone do it. However, there have been many arguments made by Itachi fans that Itachi's Tsukuyomi cannot be broken like that, because it does too much damage to your brain.


HOWEVER, Genjutsu is much like INCEPTION. Your mind has a different timing in Genjutsu, just like it does in Inception (If you guys have seen that movie). So, basically what i'm getting at is that the breaking of Itachi's tsukuyomi can be done if the user is able to disrupt his chakra before he suffers too much pain in the genjutsu.

So the law of breaking genjutsu still applies to Itachi's tsukuyomi. Since, we can't compare the genjutsu time to the real time, there we can't say the damage will be done widely.

Evidence and Resolve:

So, with that explanation I will explain how Hashirama can break Tsukuyomi.

The way to break a Genjutsu, (And I think this is a hint that Jiraiya was capable of breaking Tsukuyomi). :

Tsukuyomi = Genjutsu. That law applies to all Genjutsu. Reason why Sasuke was able to break out of it is because of Chakra disruption using the Sharingan.

i honestly believe if hashirama falls under tsukuyomi he cant break it....the moment he realizes it`s an illussion and tries to act upon it will be already too late....for genjutsu to be noticed and to try to break it it will naturally cost you some seconds.....but in tsukuyomi world one second is 3 days!! his mind will be raped by the time he tries to break free....however hashi has good counter for that....bringer of darkness....and i think that even if hashi falls under tsukuyomi he can survive the effects because of his extreme regeneration and strong body...

You can't compare Genjutsu time to real world time. Also, he is a sharp guy who has faced many genjutsu users.. and is a genjutsu expert himself. I'm pretty sure he would know.

Every genjutsu affects you in a instant. And also, the timing inside the genjutsu is different then the timing in the real world. If Hashirama realizes in 1 minute of the genjutsu timing.. that hes under genjutsu he can break it without damage.

Tsukuyomi is pretty easy to break with expert chakra control. Thats probably why Itachi didn't put himself over people like Jiraiya.

Heres the problem. We are going by genjutsu time, not real life time. Real life time doesn't apply to breaking out of chakra... only genjutsu time does.
