@Renegade87: great songs dude. check this. they remind me of old Wutang and Eminem back in his early days.

back alley rapist/serial killer music...

thnx homie and that one good ass hell..made me crack up a good few times:D
on the rapist serial killer music..these 2 from Em still crack me up every time i hear them.

Something on a ransom note...
What to do with somebody's cascet...
I miss the old Em :(

And last but not least something on seeing something every night before bed.

@Schmack

True, Em has matured a great deal and i respect that but i'll take "just dont give a F*ck Em" over the current Em anyday.
Still no one can take away the period he had in the late 90's till 2004 where this man used to eat mc's and beats for breakfast.
Ahhh the good ol days:rolleyes:

And here are a few more

The Roots.. nuff said

Nieve & Cook - away with words
Great album, took me months to get it out my car radio.

Surreal and the sound providers

If you know any unkown underground hip hop please post, always looking for that next hot joint to blast in my car.
And if you want some more tracks lemme know...got more where that came from.

mmhhmmm. those really were the days. i miss em. and yea Em back in those days was unreal man i could listen to his old tracks all day.

appreciate your post bro cuz i discovered Surreal & Sound Providers and Nieve & Cook. never knew about them untill i checkd out your post. they sound dope. gonna start listening to their music from now on.. so yea. rep up bro.

here's few.

Shadez of Brooklyn: some dope ol skool trax

AZ: one of the dopest mcs in my opinion, dead or alive. not really underground but doesn't get the rep he deserves.

since i'm originally from Brooklyn, i tend to listen to mcs from NYC more, like above mcs. but i'm always eager to find out more about hip hop from different places. like Europe and Asia. heard they make dope sounds but the only one i know is Nujabes.. pretty much.

Hehe yeah Haze is dope..it's actually the first song i ever heard from them.
It took about 30 seconds b4 i lost my mind from a overload of dopenessxd

Here's 2 more that i just had to share.
This is just pure fire from 0.26

Very mellow song with with lyrics that'll make you think
And some random tracks
Big L, no hip hop thread is complete without at least one track from him
Dead Prez, also very underrated but probably to real for mainstream.

And one from Nas cuz he is half man half amazing...love that line!!:D

awesome tracks as usual my man. Dead Prez = pure dopeness.

sometimes i wonder where today's mainstream hip hop culture is going. instead of guys like Lil Wayne, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and Kid Cudi, what if we had Dead Prez, AZ, Rakim, Kool G, CYNE, Styles P, Jada, and looads more, dominating the hip hop scene? the way it should be..

radio would play the latter's music instead of the former's.. shit would be crazy.

tracks from Immortal Technique, AOTP, Kamachi & Priest, Cunninlynguists, Canibus, and Wu Tang.

I do the same thing man..i lost interest in mainstream hiphop a long time ago probably after Em dropped the Eminem Show.
I think if Pac was still around and he would have succeeded in getting his idea of one nation of the ground, things would have been waaay different.
Lil Wayne and all the other fake cats probably wouldn't even had a chance in the hiphop scene.
But sadly we will never know:(

On the other hand i kinda like the fact all the real artists are relatively unknown, it keeps them away from the influence of money and fame.
Just look at Eminem, came out as one of the baddest mc's of all time, but because of the experience he had with fame, money and the media he changed a great deal.
I still respect him and it's understandable given the circumstances, but he just isn't the old Em i grew to love.

Anyway was strolling around youtube and found something new

Is just me or does the 3rd guy from the first track kinda sound like Krayzie Bone from time to time???
Speaking of which..cant leave them out as well

yea it's pretty sad.. i mean i remember listening to Em's shit like crazy in middle school but now he's featuring people like Rihanna and Lil Wayne in his tracks. who would've dreamed of that shit when he first came out to the scene.. just makes me realize how money and fame can influence people. and the ****ed up media too. i guess one can say that he kinda sold out.

that doesn't take away my respect for Em tho cuz his old shit is still straight fire and still he's better than all the wack bitches out there who make songs about Gucci and cars and hoes and their fakeass wanksta swag all the time.

on the bright side tho it's reassuring to know that there are still real hip hop artists around, mostly underground or pretty unknown. away from money and fame just like you said. hip hop's not dead it's buried alive and it's gonna come out above the ground someday. i hope.

ps. yea that guy i belive Layzie kinda has similar flow with Krazie Bone. his voice is more high pitched tho i think.

Hehe lol, wasnt talking bout Layzie was talking about Collective Efforts..1st track, 3rd guy xd

And i hope so to man, but given the current level of intellect of the majority of kids and their taste in music nowadays i highly doubt it :(

I quote,

"And while you keep on faking the funk we gonna keep on walking through the darkness carrying our torches, underground will live 4ever baby, we just like roaches, never dying, always living and on that note lets get back to the program"

Best intro ever!! :D

few tracks from Odd Future even though the recent album was a disappointment.
