How comes the world at all instead of the non-entity which could be imagined in it's place?
could you please reformulate your question? i don't get what you're asking.
Why am I so inactive?
Do you know the NarutoBase member going by the username Saaaaaadpanda?
When lightning strikes the ocean, why don't all the fish die?
How does the world exist at all instead of the nonentity which could be imagined in it's place?
nonentity: the state of not existing; nonexistence
when the big bang happened, a lot of shit went flying trough the just born space/time. this shit includes star matter. when our sun formed, there were, of course, matter that wasn't used and then this matter was spit from the sun itself and started to orbit it.
eventually, when this **** ton load of crap was already used to orbit the sun, gravity started to join these small dust particles and they made earth.
your first answer proved you are smart, you have my respect, and thats a rarity.only one individual can determine the meaning of his/her life, so there's not a solid concept or a formula. you must understand that by yourself.
the third dimension is by far the most stable in terms of space-time, however, it's expected that the expansion of the universe will go beyond our control and things will start to split up because gravity would be smaller than the expansion of our dimension and eventually the 3rd dimension would desintegrate.
So science would tell us, yes. The question is more philisophical then scientific.
Here is a simpler wording of the same question.
How does anything exist at all?
From nothing to being there has no logical bridge.
Maybe beginnings and endings are limitations of thought set by mortality.
To humans, something that always was or is or will be may not be truly understood. It can be accepted through faith that that is how it is, if that is how it is, but we may never understand the nature of eternity.
I believe that this question is the original reason that mankind embraced Gods as the makers of all things. Either that or Gods actually exist and did create the Universe.
What is in my left pocket?
things exist because we think they exist. if i never told you about the planet kepler 22b, for example, it would never exist for you. but now it somewhat does. because you think things exist.
if you think nothing exists, then nothing will exist, except for you.
cogito ergo svm.
