Possible theory on why Naruto "loved" Sakura

i dont think hes mentioned his love to sakura for like 6 arcs now. i think that ship has sailed for him now

It showed Sai and Naruto talking in a flashback in the Kage Summit which was the arc before the war...

yep part of the rivalry stuff between them, that's what i think too.

Except Sasuke never shown to like Sakura so it has nothing to do with rivalry on both ends, Naruto was jealous but he haven't shown jealousy like part 1 Naruto but he still showed feelings for Sakura.

Well the same goes for Sakura with Sasuke and Hinata with Naruto. At least Sakura shown feelings for Naruto in the manga while the others were only one sided.

Naruto's "love" for Sakura was out-right disgusting and portrayed horribly. It was like watching a kindergartner ask out another one, constantly to no avail. No love, no emotion, no feelings.

If anything Naruto and Sakura have proven that both a male and female can have a strong relationship with eachother without "those" feelings being in the way.


I agree completely. Maybe more character progression as he carries on into the manga, or the last movie?

Hopefully he'll learn to let things go when Sasuke returns or at least stops being "that" Sasuke.

How is it disgusting? That he actually loves her and wants to fight for her because giving up means that he couldn't truly love her when she's still single? Sakura actually showed to have feelings for Naruto, she just didn't know of those feelings and that's why Yamato was saying he could see that she lives him but Naruto woke up. Kushina didn't like Minato until he saved her, Sakura didn't like Naruto until he saved her

but she already liked Sakura so that's who was on her mind but we see in Shippuden that she grew closer to Naruto. She was blushing and thinking how Naruto grew in the first Shippuden chapter.

Naruto said when he saved Sasuke, he's going to tell Sakura how he feels, he knows Sakura likes Sasuke but that's not going to stop him from giving his all. Kakashi even said Sakura's love for Sasuke is different than it use to be and that she doesn't want to make him hers so NaruSaku is still a possibility and NaruHina wasn't one until the last pic came out but their both sad so that doesn't confirm anything but make it a possibility.

Ironically, it was probably partly Naruto's fault that Sakura began to feel she had a chance with Sasuke.
