He could sense everything around him. Sage mode he can sense chakra and rikudou mode he could sense emotions. He could take any powerful attack, Sage mode makes him durable (even his shadow clones could take the kyuubi standing on him after a hit with it's tail) Rikudou mode his chakra could be used as a shield (how strong is still unknown but all his kyubi modes seem to have a pretty strong defense)

With both forms his chakra control increase dramatically so he could probably use FRS like rasengans, also Rikudou mode could probably be protecting him from the wind needles so he could come close and strike with the FRS.

His shadow clone jutsu would increase like never before seen, I'm talking about 10,000 clones with his base mode amount of chakra. Which means 10,000 FRS at once.

The scariest thing I can come up with is a fusion of the katas and the Rikudou mode's arm extinction attack. If the Katas is invisible to the eye even to doujutsu. Naruto could grab you and punch you without you knowing what just happened only Naruto being a sage and seeing natural energy can see the attack.

First to enter sage mode you have to balance chakra so that your chakra and the natural energy are balanced so the more chakra you have the more natural energy you can gather... just imagine naruto using the kyubi's chakra and mixing it with natural energy
Also natural energy powers the regenerating capacities and the user's resistance to damage, a kind of a shield so to speak... if you add the kyubi's chakra which also heals naruto and shields him (not even the Kusanagi sword could cut him) naruto has a pretty good ultimate defense xd
And also speed and huge amounts of chakra is just what naruto's big bang jutsu needs He's the type that uses huge chakra consuming jutsu (kage bunshin no jutsu, rasenshuriken)

If the kyuubi was at 100% then hell yeah. If Naruto combines sage mode with his Rikudou mode Naruto's chakra would be as big as the kyuubi's at 100% before Minato split it. Which would make all the kyuubi transformations we've seen look like kittens playing with yarn.

His chakra defense would increase dramatically also sage mode protects his body, If he can easily crush a boulder with the normal rikudou mode then he could bend steal like pretzels he could lift anything without touching it.

Sasuke needs the rinnegan to keep up with the potential of what Naruto could do.

I would say that combining the two modes won't be as simple as that and that he maybe won't be able to do it right away. However, if its possible and he makes it, with sage mode potencialized by the 9 tails chakra i think he'll get:

- Ultra strenght (think tsunade/sakura strenght VS 1.000)
- Superspeed (body flicker to the extreme since he can use huge amounts of chakra do boost his movements)
- Ultra perception of everything from enemies, to jutsu, to projectiles, to his surrondings, etc. (with sage mode he can sense chakra and see chakra and natural energy; boosted by 9 tails chakra he has the possibility to develop a kind of "omniconscience" of whats arround him, dodging from attacks, countering and previewing jutsu, cancelling and resisting to genjutsu, predicting enemy movements, knowing if the enemy speaks truth or lie, etc etc etc)
- Trowing normal rasengans (he did it with fuuton rasengan, so why won't the next step be doing it with the normal rasengan?)
- More elemental control (he could master new fuuton jutsus and other elements, possibly earth or water since they both could counter fire but are weak against lightning)
- Fox's knowledge of jutsu, madara and the world (if he gets the cooperation from the fox he'll be able to acess it's knowledge and experience as well as some special abilities not yet seen, since all other tailed beasts seem to have an afinity to special abilities and the fox, other from beeing a gigantic fox that shoots chakra spheres, hasn't been shown yet to have a special ability like lava, sludge, fire or sand releases like other beasts)
- He'll perfect "that jutsu" (wich we still don't know what it is)
- Maybe he'll learn some special sealing techniques that might be hiding away in his genetic memory or something.
- He could acess a random power-up like for example gaining rinnegan or other keke gekay that simply's been laying dorment.

Can't wait to see what comes next...

i had this idea for a technque for naruto. we know the sage cloak has life giving qualities as yamotos wood responded to it. i was thinking that large base of chakra naruto might be able to use a jutsu as a becon to the after life. with his access naruto could use fallen comrades and enemys who respected him in battle lending him there knowledge and jutsu to use in combat. it think it could be called soul reincarnation or something like that.
