Recall that Kaguya and her kin hail from a land away from the regular Narutoverse (sort of like the Second Naruto Movie with the Stone).

With chakra she simply was capable of manipulating her eyes. Between her unique blood line (being a foreign resident) and being the one to eat the God Tree.. the eye was bound to be powered up.



I mean what did she suddenly lose her pupil and her eye pigmentation?! That makes no sense.

Hinata will not get the power-up . For four reasons... 1 . Hinata is a side character , and as being a side character , she shouldn't be important (well, for right now ) 2. Hinata has nothing to do with this Arc , and don't get me wrong . Without Hinata , the series Naruto will be different someway , somehow but right now in this situation and at this moment . Hinata isn't important. 3. Hinata doesn't need a power-up because she has enough power to survive at this moment . 4 (finally) Hinata doesn't deserve this power . Why , you may ask , ?Well , because she is a lady . Kishi doesn't or may never really make women strong (as the men ) .

Kakashi in Part I stated that it was rumored that the Uchiha Clan's origins lie with the Hyuga.

This statement has been proven true. Kaguya has the Byakugan, and this likely means at least one child (Hagoromo's brother) likely carried this on. He went on to found the Hyuga.

Hagoromo's son Indra founded the Uchiha.


So yes. Uchiha's origin lie with the Hyuga: Kaguya Ootsutsuki. This does not stipulate that the Sharingan itself comes from the Byakugan.

It means that Kaguya started with the Byakugan.... upon eating the fruit gains her third eye and godly power. Her children's children go on to eventually found the Hyuga, Uzumaki, Senju, and Uchiha clans (most likely... though at the very least Senju, Uchiha, and Hyuga).


Thus, yes... they can have the same origin with one not coming from the Juubi.

That would be nice actually, since kaguya is maybe the reaper. She could probably channel her "god like" power into hinata.... Sounds like fan fiction but I wouldn't be surprised if kish took this route. My fear is if sakura does fight with them. She's going get another ass pull power... Like slug sage mode or something :| ... Hopefully kishi doesn't take the sakura route. In which he probably will...

No just that panel where Sakura lost her gumption in the presence of Juubi Madara. We've seen her flinch and hesitate trying to kill a nearly blind Sasuke. Naruto and Sasuke can't afford to have her flake out at this stage in the game.

If Sakura does get a power up somehow, I doubt she'd still be scarred to the point of being too scared to breathe. The whole Sasuke think was a completely different story than this. The pressure of stabbing an old comrade in the back (literally) would seem hard for anyone. Didn't Kakashi hesitate from finishing Obito off at one point? My memory is foggy.
