possible counter for the jyubi?

If madara manages to summon the ten tailed beast, i was thinking that Sasuke?s Susanoo might be able to vanish it, since the sword (Totsuka no Tsurugi ) has the ability of sealing anything it pierces in an eternal dream-like illusion.

What do you guys think?

oh come on man, it is a possible counter, but the sword is missing. but i can't believe you create a thread for this, coming up with some random theory of 2 lines and asking for rep. reaper death seal may work agaisnt the juubi only trade of is it kills the caster. might get rid of the juubi indefinently though due to the sealing system when the caster dies so does the juubi.

My Theory: Madara gains the other half of the Kyuubi through unknown means and is able to summon the Juubi even though having only half. Naruto confronts Madara with the Kyuubi still inside him, Kyuubi vs Juubi. Naruto is then to resort to the Reaper Death seal, which he learned trough unknown means. Through a random chance the Shinigami takes away the soul of the Kyuubi, thus harmlessly removing the Kyuubi from Naruto and sealing away the Juubi indefinitely in theory.

Didn't the SOSP created a technique to defeat the jyuubi and seal it inside his own body.. I thought Madara was planning to do the same.. that tech must be inscribed on that tablet inside the Uchiha chamber wich Madara was talking abt

Just because Sasuke's Susano'o has a sword doesn't mean it's the sword of Totsuka. Compare it with Itachi's. It clearly comes out of a gourd which Sasuke doesn't have and the shape of the sword is different. And read this article:

It isn't logical that Sasuke would have those skills too. He didn't have Yata's mirror as well.

Not much really. If they had the death god sealing technique that could do it but no one alive currently knows it. The Totsuka Sword is a possibility though unproven against a tailed beast since the process could be different. Or they could give all their chakra to Yamato and he could subdue the Juubi. Kind of like Goku against Buu with the spirit bomb. I kidd.

Not confirmed until stated. Didn't come out of the gourd like Itachi's plus Kishi would have hinted it's abilities other then breaking a pillar.

It's the same sealing process that's been used to seal other tailed beast into hosts. It's been passed down through generations. How he managed to do it on the Juubi is another matter. The power of a fully realized Rinnegan for one.

And regarding the mirror, perhaps sasuke still doesn?t have the need to use it since the flames of amaterasu are strong enough to assure a perfect defense.

Oh yes, because we've seen many swords in Naruto that look like flame... Especially ones that come from essentially the same demonic being that comes from the MS.

I don't disagree, but Naruto should become more powerful than the Sage of the Six Paths and be able to take out the Jyuubi, stopping its attacks with one arm and whatnot. I don't know if the Jyuubi will ever be created though, Naruto would have to lose the Kyuubi. I doubt that even if he loses a fight that someone would get that far to seal the Kyuubi.

Maybe Sasuke didnt put enough chakra into Susanoo to summon the mirror? I mean Itachis had armor at the beginning. Sasukes just had flesh and bones and whatnot, maybe the mirror is just an extension of the full Susanoo? It being a solitary item of its own of course.
