madara did manipulate time back there, because remember when the huge shriken hit madara and as he was falling down his eyes began spinning and the whole screen just froze and rewind back to where he was and sent back the blade back to hashirama, so thats it alright o.o and if you look at sasuke's ems it appears to be like a clock like shape

IMO I believe it was the sharingan in how it foresaw an attack. If he had the power to manipulate time, How the **** did he lose?!?
