He also wears purple trousers tucked inside black boots with white laces on them and a dark ornament made of fur circling the lower part of his torso, with a lighter shade in the middle of it. He also has a pink sash tied around his waist, with a piece of jewelry hanging from it. Hawkins also wears dark gloves similar to those worn by Blueno of CP9, and an armor-like armlet can be seen on his left arm around his left biceps, which also extends to cover his left shoulder. On his right hip he carries a sword with an elaborate pommel.As a child, he had much shorter hair and wore a similar coat to the one he wears now. He is also shown with his trademark stoic expression, possibly partaking in a tarot card reading.
Personality:Hawkins portrays himself in a noble and enigmatic manner. In particular, he has a notion about foretelling the fate of everything that he sees. He notes the potential of death and fate in things from a person's clothing to other pirates.
When approached by Kizaru, he calmly used his cards to calculate all the probabilities of the battle, and upon foretelling that he wouldn't die, remained calm even when subsequently attacked. He has been known to express outward shock though rarely.
He remains completely calm regardless of the situation, showing no emotional response.
He appears to be against the idea of needless violence, as seen when he stopped his crewmate from attacking a waiter after the latter accidentally spilled spaghetti all over his clothes, even then apologizing to the waiter himself.
He seems to be always serious and he also hates jokes.

History:Hawkins, growing up had a terrible childhood.Though born in a noble family of konoha ,nonetheless he was subjected to exalted expectations of his family which he failed miserably and the fact that his younger brother Drake was already considered a prodigy by the family and by his parents, made his life more difficult for him.He was subjected to constant ridicule of his peers and as such he never considered his family as his own family.Though he was jealous of his younger brother`s achievement nonetheless he loved him dearly and was the only one he could consider his family.When he failed for the second time at the ninja academy his family banished him.So at the age of 11 he was already homeless without any place to go but after months of travelling, starving almost to death he encountered a monk.The monk pitied him and asked him to tell his history.The monk after hearing Hawkin`s account decided to teach him the basic arts of ninjutsu.Hawkins vowed that he would become better than his brother.Through sheer willpower and 8 months of hard work(day and night) Hawkins finally was able to master ninjustsu becoming more or less proficient.When he reached Konoha after 2 years people failed to recognize him.He heard the news that his brother had already become ANBU black ops commander at a tender age of 12.He was immensely happy but the happiness was tinted by bitterness.When Hawkins`s family memebers came to know that he had returned to Konoha they didnt bother to contact him.Around midnight hawkins woke up in his hotel admist a lot of commotion.He came to know that four prominent members of his family.Though he was concerned he didnt voice it.Rumors started flying thick and fast that maybe Hawkins had something to with the murders since he had a grudge.Two members of the family were sent to bring ace but when they cam back their whole body was covered with severe injuries.through mumbling they were able to inform the family head that Hawkins had become a master of foresight.More members were sent but the result was the same.Finally the family head himself along with Drake went to capture Hawkins.Upon asked by the family head whether he was the one behind the killings , Hawkins vehemently denied it.The family Head then asked him to come with them for further questioning but Hawkins refused.The family head ordered Drake to fight and capture Hawkins.Though Drake was reluctant but nonetheless prepared to fight.The battle raged for 5 straight days and both the sides suffered major injuries but in the end Hawkins was overpowered and he was brought for questioning.His mastery of the ninjutsu earned him the nickname "The Magician".The same night two more members were killed.The family head finally believed that Hawkins wasnt behind the killings.He was baffled as to why anybody who made such efforts to frame Hawkins. then kill two more members when Hawkins was already in captured.He asked Hawkins`s help but he refused and said that he had nothing to with the family since he didnt belong here.Hawkins then said that he was willing to help only if he was paid 1000000 ryo.The family head having witnessed Hawkins`s ability agreed and put Drake in his team to help capture the killer.Days and days of investigation finally resulted in the capture of the killer who under severe torture revealed that one of the families wanted to wipe out the entire family so that they could ascend to being a noble family.On further interrogation it came to notice that the reason more people were killed inspite of Hawkins being captured was that they thought that Hawkins would wipe out the family for falsely capturing him and they would secretly assist him.The whole matter was brought to the hokage immediately who banished the family from Konoha for eternity.Further they were warned that even if a single person of the family was spotted in Konoha the entire family would face the wrath of the might of Konoha village.After staying for some days Hawkins decided to leave Konoha for further training and though his mother begged him to stay he bluntly refused and reminded her of the humiliation and ridicule he had to face for so long.On his journey Hawkins gained some close companions and he broke out of the cold rude shell and finally learned to smile.He vowed that he would do whatever he wa capable of protecting them even if it cost him his life.
