Poll: Itachi vs Jiraiya

Itachi would definately win since we can guess Jiraiya and Orochimaru are the same level and Oro said Itachi was more powerfull than him. I think Nagato and Itachi where the same level(would love to see them fight) and Jiraiya lost to Nagato. But Itachi did say by facing him it would drag the Uchiha and the seven swordsmens names through the mud.

I'm suer Jiraya would win hands on.
Some people said that Itachi would not allow him to go into Sage mode, but if you think about it you'd remember that when he fought Pain he transformed into Sage mode in a blink of an eye just when he was attacked by the rino summoned by Pain, and don't forget that Jiraya's Sage Mode is permanent thanks to Fukasaku and Ma.
The thing is that Jiraya is someone that would've kicked Danzo's ass easily, and Danzo, in one single fight, took little sasuke to the point where he went blind because of overusing the Mangekyu, and I must say that Sasuke's mangekyu is stronger than Itachi's.
My point here is that the Mangekyu is not as great as we all believed it would be; Let's take a look at the past, when Itachi used Aamateratsu on Sasuke, Sasuke was able to dodge it several times during the fight, and I'm sure that Jiraya's speed during Sage mode is a lot faster than the one Sasuke would reach at any point.
Sage mode not only increases speed, it also brings with it a huge power up for it's user, it allows its user to become the greatest sensor ninja there could exist (well, Naruto surpassed this when he dominated the kyubi), it gives its user a huge resistace to attacks too.
Let's look at Itachi's weapons and their effect on Jiraya Sage Mode:
* Tsukiyomi: It's a great illusion but it's one that was broken by Sasuke, confirming what Jiraya taught Naruto when he was a child; Jiraya said "that if the victim of the illusion has a greater chakra that it's attacker he would be able to concentrate and release it's chakra in a blow to break the illusion". That's what Sasuke did by releasing hes second level of the cursed seal, and my friends, Sage mode concentrates much more chakra than that seal, which means that Jiraya would break Tsukiyomi rapidly.
* Amateratsu:Sasuke dodged it so I'm sure that sage mode would also dodge it with much less effort into it.
* Susano: We saw how little sasuke went blind by using it for, let's say, one hour (that's what his fight with Danzo and the Raikage must have lasted), and being fair we must admit that Sasuke's Susano is way stronger than Itachi's because of his capability to mix it with amateratsu and to launch long distance attacks. Itachi's Susano is a short range weapon so Jiraya would just keep his distance for a while, jus until Itachi goes blind, and while he's in sage mode he can sence the exact position of Itachi so that if he tries to run away Jiraya would locate him easily and take him down with one huge rasengan.
My friends, I'm bsolutely sure that Jiraya would crush Itachi easily. I also read that some people said that Jiraya was at Orochimaru's level and that's not quite right (well maybe if while Jiraya is out of sage mode), but this is a whole different sicussion.

sasukes mangekyou isnt stronger than itachis (without ems) because itachi didnt flaunt his mangekyou powers and he was saving his mangekyou powers for his big match with sasuke. he was taking medication to live longer for sasuke and his mangekyou was worn out pretty badly from using it in the past when he first had it. imagine a fully healthy itachi at full power using all his mangekyou capabilities. sasukes tskyomi fails in comparison to itachis and his sussano and i believe itachi could manipulate amaterasu just as good as sasuke but he just didnt show it for various reasons so itachis MS is way stronger than sasukes but i believe when sasuke has ems he will surpass itachis MS and he will have the legendary items and a deadly tskyomi. and your saying sasukes sussano is way stronger than itachis? are you kidding me lol sasukes sussano dosent make him invincible like itachis sussano. you are underestimating itachi very rapidly and his legendary items ( do some research on the totsuka sword and they yata mirror mate).

they both would cancel each other even itachi knew that why do you think itachi left the scene the first time they met.(if i remember correctly he even said it) plus dont forget itachi had that illness that was killing him so that could play a part in the fight

Jiraiya hands down. you guys underestimate him. . jiraiya's knowledge and experience would grant him victory. i mean sure itachi has MG, but he can only use it so much. itachi's genjustu would be useless against him since he knows how to break out of it. susanoo on the other hand will give him trouble i'm sure, but if pervy sage ever would go sage mode its a rap..

I mean by at full power that he's not ill in the fight and the MS don't lose his light (like he just gained the MS)

I think Jiraiya would win because Itachi ran away from Jiraiya before But I'm not sure if Itachi wanted to cause commotion or not.

Well people saying Jiraiya and oro are on the same level how the hell would any one know that? we only seen them fight once and oro didn't have hands and Jiraiya was poisoned Lol The only fight we saw Oro get into was the one against the 3rd and IMO he got his ass kicked the only reason why he was hard to fight was because he summoned the 1st and 2nd hokage.
Also even if itachi was at full power the fight would come down to a Ninjitsu battle like how it was when Sasuke and Itachi fought.
Genjitsu wouldn't work on sage mode and Itachi wouldn't be dumb enough to waste time using taijitsu on Jiraiya when on a sage roid rage. Thus coming down to a Ninjitsu battle.

Sage Mode: Takes a long time into but incredible speed and strength
Genjutsu: Illusion by sound. Requires Ma and Pa and takes a long time to sync voices. Would knock Itachi out if unleashed.
Toad Summons: Strong but still are only summons and are not really enough to hold out against top class ninjas
Toad Stomach: Easily Burn through by Amaterasu.

-Amaterasu: Instant black flames that burn everything in the users sight. Can be sealed by Jiraiya but takes a long time to seal. (scroll of flame sealing)
-Susanoo: Invincible Shield of reflection, Sealing Sword. Ultimate Defense and Offense.
The poll asks who would win at their full power which excludes Itachis sickness and blindness. We have seen Jiraiya fight at his full power but not Itachi's. Both ninjas have very strong techniques but I believe that Itachi's are all faster. The longer the battle goes for, the greater the advantage Jiraya has. Itachi is like a nuker while Jiraiya needs charge time. In the ninja world there a many ninjas, I believe that there is sort of a rock, paper, scissor system. Some ninjas are better than others because of there different styles but would get smashed by others on lower skills.
I personally believe that Itachi would win because Jiraiya would not have enough time to get what he need together. However the price to pay for such power is the light from Itachis eyes. A full powered Itachi would be one that didn't care about Sasuke and just take his eyes. He would be way stronger that Sasuke's with his.

Jiraya dos nt always do seals. Rememba his lion mane. Hair senbon. Rasengan. Nd xperience. Nd who eva said oroch is stronga dan Jiraya. Mayb u r a bit lost.
