I, for one,am quite pleased and impressed by how the manga is going U_U.The only things that bother me a little are:

-Minato having SM(-_- seems kinda like an asspull)
-Naruto and Sasuke taken down like 3 year olds.
-The Edo Hokage aren't as tough as I expected them to be.

Everything else is pretty good.What about you?

Direction? What Direction. Kishi is all over the place with this particular portion of the manga. seriously, people are getting way too OP and insane power-ups in spur of the moment battles. The Kishi Protection Force try to justify every ridiculous power-up like it was foreshadowed when they know it wasn't.

Kishi keeps turning Minato into a another Naruto
The battles are getting far too drawn out and repetative. (Did we really need to see a reincarnation of Rikudo for the bad guys twice now?)
Madara is so damn OP that he has to uncharacteristically nerf himeslf so the good guys can win?(I mean WTF Kishi?)

I'm still holding out for a better arc after this (Naruto VS Sasuke better happen)

The depth to charactersm, the emotions, the drawing style and humor.

Bit of a shame how people treat this series as if it is crap, just because of having the opinion that
there are some plot holes in the series. Isnt the rest of the series worth anything to you people?
Do a few plot holes ruin the entire series? I wouldnt say so.
I would like to say please look at the series overal and to not stare yourself blind at some plot holes.
Overal, this series is great imo.

I think you are reading too much into what is written here. The OP asked if we were satified with how the manga is progressing Not the manga as a whole. If we hated the entire manga/story as a whole, well we wouldn't be member of the base now would we.

I agree with you. As a whole the series is exceptional. Sure I've seen better written stories....But I've also seen far worse. I have a lot of love for the series as a whole. The characters (most of them) are great the theme, great! The moral of the series, great! This war? A great letdown for me.

But that doesn't mean I hate Naruto Shippuden. I just hate the war arc and the current villain. I would have been Fine if Obito had been the final villain honestly.

not at all,kishimoto is making a fool out of every character that isn't among his beloved uchiha's side.
he's repeating the same process of obito to madara by nerfing every character that crossed madara's path,not to mention the number of asspulls madara got,and the characters trolled for him to reach juubi's jins status is stunning.

Fair enough. I guess I had let some ''omg this manga has turned into crap'' threads get to me and I made the post with those in the back of my head.

True the OP asked about how it is progressing.
I do like the war arc though. Not everything, but most of it.
Without the war arc we wouldnt have have the opportunity to see old kages from the past, emotional moments of
closure, like Gaara and his father, we wouldnt have seen Naruto become friends with Kurama and the other
bijou gaining trust in humans again, just as how they trusted the sage.
The peacetheme got expanded on quite a lot in the war arc and quite
some other things.

I am not bothered by Minato with SM, as one can read from my thread in my sig.

I found the shinobi Alliance all using doton wall very confusing though.
Everyone can use weak jutsus of all 5 elements?

Madara using Susanoo without eyes raised some questionmarks for me as well.
I dont like how powerful Madara is though. I dont like a jutsu like that Limbo Rinnegan one.
That one kinda happened out of nowhere for me. Sorta seemed like some karma jutsu, hitting
back what was done to you. In that case it is cool.

Sasuke being unable to move by another new Rinnegan jutsu...
Like where do all those Rinnegan jutsu all of a sudden come from lol.
Probably a few more moments that I wasnt to fond off, but overal I am quite content
with this series and also with how it is progressing.

I am, its not perfect with Minato's sage mode and everything happening in one night, but other then that I am enjoying the progress of the series.

I love the direction where it's leading to, except the Obito part which I really despise him after still being alive and well, he should've been dead, so this worrys me too much, I'm hoping next chapter Madara kills him off as would not allow him to get away that easily...

For the last couple chapters I haven't really been a fan of how Kishi is progressing the storyline.

I would say (and this is my opinion) that the manga started progressing horribly around Ch. 640 (the latest, maybe earlier).

Still it has it's moments.
