I literally just heard this on the news.
The Polar bear had killed one and Injured four people, two of which being the Trip leaders.

I feel sorry for the boy, and the ones who were injured though. (Well, more for the boy's family).
This reminds me of another piece of news that I saw, a tiger was set loose / accidently freed(?) in India, and I think it injured some people. They were chasing it to recapture it. Once they tranquilized it, it died. Sigh.
I wish we could be better at handling/avoiding animals, so we don't have to end up hurting them (and us getting hurt too, I guess xD).

Hmm, well there has to be a reason for a bear being out of its habitat. Possibly destruction of their territory due to construction?
