Pokemon, WHAT THE HELL?

ok, so after some time i decided to catch up to anime of Pokemon, and i just watched 1 certain episode which made me like WTF, here are the 2 moments, that pretty much pissed me off

so here you can see Pikachu who if we go by game stats should be easily level 100 and he looses to Snivy level 5 which in itself is like idiotic and this is the same Pikachu that like 10 episodes before (maybe even less, don't quite remember) defeated legendary Pokemon Latios in the Sinnoh League, yes i know Pikachu couldn't use Electric moves, but come on, he has been through a LOT of stuff and looses this badly



then we move a lot of episodes and we come to Ash vs Trip in the League in the preliminary which is 1 vs 1, Snivy is already Serperior and fights Pikachu, and after Pikachu gets hit by few Dragon Tails and is in Wrap for quite some time, he then KOs Serperior with 1 MOVE, i mean, come on now :| Anime makers couldn't do worse job or what? :|




oh, and i forgot to point out that that combination move which took Serperior down wasn't even super effective, it was combination of Steel and Electric type moves, so it shouldn't do THAT much damage

you gotta remember the target market is for younger ones....if pickachu beat every body up (except for team rocket...thats the only reason why it still can)cuz it was at lv 100 how would that look in a kids eyes? plus ash is still 10 years old some how so i guess they restart pkmn level and trainer age with every new adventure....

i agree, but i think that this still is nothing against the whole Gary vs Ash battle in Johto, where Ash's Charizard defeated Gary's Blastoise and Ash's Heracross got hit by Fire Blast and Flamethrower from few centimeters and still won

Yeah but during the respective pokemon leagues of the new regions ash calls on his old pokemon and they are able to compete with the pokemon of the league, if it all starts over for pikachu then why don't the rest of his pokemon suck considering excluding charizard pikachu is his strongest pokemon(or so I thought)

i agree, then make him not use any of his other Pokemon, i mean, if Ash wanted, he could use his best team which would most likely be Charizard, Infernape, Pikachu, Torterra, Sceptile and Snorlax, he could own most people in most leagues

I dont understand how ANYONE anywhere in existance would think that people would like most Pokemon episodes o be fillEd with the worst possible fodder pokemons (like only 0.1% of pokemons shown are the ones we would actually want in the game) as opposed to Ash getting say Dragonite or Tyranitar or at least battling against such, which gets me to my next point who in hell would think its better for the main chracters to always have stupid ass polemons who never evolve and always stay fodder

PS I havent watched Polemon ina while but I assume thats how it still is, btw is there a list In existence which lists good/relavant episodes like the ones with gym and tournament fights and the ones who have interesting pokemon in them or legendary ones ... I would like to rewatch the Kyogre and Groudon episodes some time

thats not gunna happen...some kids only watch the show for his prime pokemon...if ash starts spamming another pokemon it might change the flow of the show..and idk...its crazy i think at the beginning of this season they said he was 10 when he should be like 17...i wonder if pokemon will grow like how we seen rugrats grow from kiddy to teen

well he did encounter that one guy. so no thunder attacks... although pikachu has more experience that doesnt always win the battle. as you can see it takes 2 to win both trainer and pokemon. Ash is sometimes to ignorant in his battles thats why he loses. Also they dont go by the levels in the games, maybe that snivey had experience while it was in the wild. lot of stuff to calculate into this equation.

i agree with you, i stopped watching cause of the people who joined Ash, they are SOOOOO annoying :| well, THERE IS NO FREAKIN BROCK, GIVE ME BACK MY BROCK, tho Iris isn't as bad as Dawn was lol, god how i hated her and that stupid Piplup

i would use wikia for when that Gym Leader first appeared and watch that episode

Pokemon should have ended with Ash winning the Johto League. Beating Gary in the semi final and some major antagonist in the final (Giovanni). If they really wanted to continue from that, they should have created a new hero. And as for your logic, the Pokemon anime make an explosion made from Pikachu's Iron Tail vs Magikarp's Tackle :eww:
