Mango: Turns and heads north to where the gulpin's are found- "Phase one here I come" walks into the grass

(Actually that's what I named my Pokemon characters when I was younger... I guess I am the twisted person...)

There were a few gulpins moving around slowly, eating everything they came across, even smaller pokemon. Confronting them might not be the best thing to do unless you want to become food.

There's an easy way around them, leading to wide open grassy plains and the gulpins are too slow to chase you. Do you take that route?

The guard blushes stumbles on her words and after a few tries that only ended in incomprehensible stuttering, the other guard butts in.

"We didn't see any Ghastly come through here and even if we did, this city is only welcome to residents. If you don't have ID, get lost!"

Looks like your only options are to leave or try and force your way in, but these guys do have guns on them. Maybe you could try and sneak in from the back.

Mango goes down the clear path, avoiding the Gulpin until he reaches the plains, but as soon as he does, he feels a nudge on his leg. A machop was punching away at his leg. It looked adorable.

The machop simply rolls out of the way, causing Aron to run right into Mango's leg, knocking him down. The machop then uses Rolling Kick to roundhouse kick Aron and it tumbles down a grassy hill, heavily injured.

Mango: "Return" Aron returns and walks away and arrive in slateport

Aron was returned to his pokeball, but immediately after that, a chip that was discreetly implanted into Mango at birth activates from the fainting of his last pokemon and sends an electrical charge into his brain, causing him to black out. Him blacking out activated another chip that teleported him to the pokemon center. When he wakes up, he's laying in a bed in hospital clothes.
