Red is too badass. Although if they do adapt the games then Red should just be in generation 1 only & at the end of generation 2 on mt.silver . Maybe he can make a cameo in generation 5 at world's.

But there is just so much potential in that alone....if they want to stretch it, hell, why not make a series about a Champion Red returning from his training at Mount Silver? We all know the story of how he became champion. Have him challenge himself properly, travel to other regions, take on other Elite Four, legendary pokemon, some evil team other than rocket...

Judging from the trailer they are clearly willing to let him out of the limitations of Gen 1 to interact with other places' legendary pokemon, why not expand on that?

Ugh....god damn you, Pokemon Anime...
