Plot no jutsu is not a real thing when Naruto vs Pain.

Naruto was getting his ass kicked and should have died when pain binded him with the chakra rods but he didn't because Hinata intervened got beat so badly that she looked dead allowing Naruto to get pissed and release the kyuubi which in turn gave Naruto once again the upper hand.
The fact that the seal on the Nine tails prison had some of Minato's chakra in so that he could be summoned to stop Naruto from releasing the tailed beast.
The fact that he could use the rasenshuriken without no negative affects to finally defeat pain.

Actually the only reason naruto got caught was because he attempted to save pa, naruto still had one more SM clone that he could have use against Deva path, so when people say Deva> then SM naruto the reason being because he got caught by pain is pretty insificiant. Yes naruto wouldnt have escaped with out kurama, but to say bluntly out right that Deva> than Sm naruto is pretty unfair.

Yeah, the whole "plot no jutsu" argument is absolutely stupid. Someone is always complaining that their favorite character was winning a fight until "plot no jutsu" came in and ruined it. If Naruto went they way they wanted it to, there would be absolutely no story and it would just be all fighting all the time. When Naruto was fighting Pain and Minato got a chance to talk to him, it was a chance for Minato to pass his will on to Naruto. It was shown because it was important to the story. The plot and story telling are just as important as the fights and some people forget that.

So your basically saying that if Hinata never came to save him, Naruto would have let himself being captured?
Hinata or not, Naruto was going to use the Nine-Tails power not matter what if he was about to die.
I agree all characters have plot but people only decide to target Naruto because he's the main character, it was plot for Sasuke to beat Naruto so Naruto could become stronger, it was plot that Nagato even got the Rinnegan lol Madara gave him it so if you want to talk about borrowed powers.

those are narutos powers , i agree that if it wasn't for hinata & kyubis power naruto would of been capture , but still they were powers naruto didn't want to use, but that didn't happen do to hinata , remember in love & war everything is fair xd

plot jutsu is narutos ace in the hole why, because he is the main character. What, you mean to tell me that all those strong opponents he defeated when all he was using was kage bunshiin is not plot jutsu, how does a jutsu that crappy defeat s ranked criminals or fool them so easily its because plot jutsu narutos the main character er go he has to win.
plot no jutsu exist for other characters as well but i canname many a fight where it was a legitimate win. Name a fight that naruto is in where he doesnt win by some stupid kage bunshin disguise or a one where he is about to die and doesnt go into cloaked fox all of that is plot jutsu in order to prevent naruto from dying.
dont get me wrong if someone is saved by a friend and thats all they do then thats just being a good friend however kishi used hinata as plot no jutsu to awaken narutos 8 tails cloak. So depending on the situation a save by a friend isnt necessarily plot jutsu.

Naruto came into that fight fully prepared( info on all the pains abilities, sm clones prepared in the frogland and he was at full strength) against an opponent( who couldnt use his best ability at the begining of the fight, had no info on narutos new abilities and was exhausted having destroyed konoha) if anyone was at a disadvantage it was pain.
about pain beating base naruto last time i checked base naruto can still create clones, use rasengan and is good at taijutsu so quit trying to take away from the fact that he pinned down naruto. i disagree if you guys look at the the pain v.s naruto fight you can clearly tell little naruto could of won all by himself,the plot itself advatanged to nagato,because he was trying to capture him without using too much chakara,thats why he started talking about jiraya,he wanted for naruto to give up on his own and let himself get captured,Why you ask?because at this point most of the akatski members were dead-so it would take double to tripple the time to extract kurama out of naruto.technically it was naruto by himself v.s 6 opponents,the frogs were fighting the summons,the two toad sages only helped him out with some knowledge of pains powers.and when they were gunna officially help out naruto,the green frog gets killed,so he just falls to the floor when he tried to save him(naruto could of easily stood up-but thanks to plot no jutsu) he felt distraught because he witness somebody close to him die,and most of the villagers were also dead,so of course all the feelings he had before the fight triggered when he saw the old geezer frog die.i would consider it an even fight because 1,nagato is almost double his age so he has double the battle experience,nagato has rinnegan and 6 human bodies,and naruto has sage mode and the kyubis chakra,and dont forget the rinnegan allows them to use any elemental attack-it just wasnt narutos fault that bitch ass nagato forgot that he has fire techniques againtshis rasengan,and water,and thunder,and earth and etc.

No, it was a brutal combination of Plot no Jutsu and Talk no Jutsu. Even if Naruto was to be kept alive long enough to extract the Nine Tails from his body, Pain would have easily won. If Hinata never came down to fight Deva Path after he had shattered Naruto's fighting spirit with his question about the cycle of hatred, he would've won right there. Even if Hinata did come down to fight, and died, and caused Naruto to enter the Six-Tailed Kyubi mode, Deva Path's usage of Chibaku Tensei would've resulted in a victory, if it weren't for the fact that Naruto succumbed to the Nine Tails' power and was then stopped by the mental projection of Minato, right out of nowhere with no hint of such a thing ever being performed before.
In short, yeah. It was PnJ and TnJ. If it were more realistic, Pain would have won without batting an eye.

Kishimoto makes Naruto beat everybody, so no matter how illogical his victories are, I stopped caring, I'm just going to continue to read the manga and watch the anime.

Didn't think so, love how people come up with troll statements to defend their favorite.
If anything the 9tails was taking over rather then helping.
