[Discussion] Please tell me Natsu's not going to beat Mard Geer

It is kind of obvious at this point to me that it will be Natsu and Gray vs Mard Geer. Natsu will fight him to get the book, Mard starts kicking Natsu's Ass. Then suddenly Gray will come in and try to solo Mard in one shot. That won't work so Gray will tell Natsu that they need to Team Up and defeat him.

If they win of course, I have a feeling Mard Geer will make a final attempt to release END. And for some reason it will work and END will try to possess Natsu as a host body since there is too much Magic in the world and not enough "Curse."

I really, like really really extremely hope that doesn't happen, because unless Igneel popping out of him suddenly gave him more powers, there is no way current Natsu can beat Mard

If the twin dragons can match Mard Geer, then Natsu in LFD mode can beat him. People on the base overestimate Mard Geer's strength.

I don't know why he is so highly rated he's probably weaker than future Rogue.

lol WTF? In what way did the twins "match" Mard Geer?

i) Mard Geer is using One Hand
ii) Mard Geer is not using his Curse
iii) Mard Geer is not using his Etherious form
iiii) Mard Geer is playing with them
iiiii) Despite all this, Mard Geer has not been hit even once while the twins are a couple hits away from getting KO'd

And even still Current POF Sting + Current POF Rogue > LFD Natsu.

Realistically, Mard Geer can defeat Natsu without even using his curse and while staying in base. Natsu is in a POF, or, POD form right now, and he has Igneel's flames to feed off of, so anything is possible. But its most likely that he will simply steal the book with the help of some teammates, then him actually fighting and beating Mard Geer (even with teammates). Mard Geer is either getting beaten by one of the Dragons (after summoning E.N.D of course) or perhaps 1,2 or 3 (Or maybe even #4, seeing as how they both use Trees/Thorns) from the Ishgal Saints.

I surely wouldn't have a problem with it. Help or not I don't really care as long as Marde butt is kicked.
