In my thread the argument for Itama=Zetsu basically digressed into things like "well Tobi ended up being Obito!" and "What about Itachi? That was a curveball!" or the coveted "Shisui Uchiha...where's his body?!?!" lol basically irrelevant things because it's impossible to make a good argument for this anymore besides "He looks similar"

Using fantasy, one can make all kinds of interesting things for Itama having to do with Hashi's wood release or being part of Hashi's cells and thus Zetsu as well, but that is 100% assumption, fantasy and 0% facts. So it is pure luck if it becomes true, unless more evidence is being brought in, in future chapters. One can be right for the wrong reasons as well.

Yeah we'll see. I highly doubt it will come to be though. This is a completely different situations than the ones people were mentioning. Zetsu's origin was a mystery for a long time and it was finally explained in the Obito flashback chapters. There really isn't any good reason for anything said about Zetsu in those chapters to be untrue, hence no evidence of Zetsu possibly being Itama.
